The Whigs faded quickly when the issue of slavery became the most important issue and they vacillated on it. The Republican Party seized the issue and put Lincoln in the White House.

The issue today, as far as I’m concerned, is honest elections. Form a new party, make election reform the ONLY issue that they care about and ride that horse as far as it will go.

For myself, I do not care about crime, inflation, war, or abortion. I’ll vote for someone serious and focused on election reform. If that isn’t their CENTRAL concern then they will not get my vote.

First, we have to learn to cheat better than they do!

Only then can we reform elections.

Crawl in the dirt, then shower.

and how do you elect someone on election reform when the party they are running against has the means to steal their election? I’d love to hear this one.
It’s not the message. It’s not the messenger. It’s not voter turnout or enthusiasm; it’s overcoming systematic fraud on a large scale. Until someone comes with a cure, you’re under 1 party rule.
