The Republican state party in the ballot-collecting blue states will need to adjust to this new environment and start ballot-collecting itself. Entering Election Day staring out of a pit is not a winning strategy. But that's not enough. They will never be able to out-Democrat the Democrats, who are unbound from ethical considerations.

Republicans need to go scorched earth in trying to overturn this grotesque practice, which is more reminiscent of authoritarian regimes that want to maintain the appearance of democracy. This brings back memories of the hapless Dan Rather listening as Saddam Hussein told him he got 100% of the vote, with no pushback from the godfather of fake news.

Republicans need to fight to have ballot harvesting outlawed. Until that happens, State and Local Republicans also need to start planning for massive ballot harvesting in 2024 and target EVERY Republican voter to make sure the voter either votes in person, or gives the ballot to a harvester to make sure the ballot gets to a collection site. I am not under the illusion that this will be easy. The organizations will have to start recruiting volunteers now with 2024 in sight.

I remember in 2012 I got eager Obama canvassers knocking on the door all the time. In that election cycle only one "R" showed up, a well meaning geezer who who could barely walk, who could barely catch his breath, God love him.

One problem is Republicans generally hold full time jobs. Probably half of Democrats are unemployed by choice, or they work part time at coffee shops or at patchouli patches. They aren't totally bushed by a hard day of honest work.

With two of our kids having gone to college in Michigan, we spend a fair amount of time visiting there. As near as I can tell, the only Michigan residents who actually like Gretchen Whitmer are in her immediate family. And yet she easily beat an impressive Republican candidate. In a fair election, Tudor Dixon wins that race easily. But that's the point. These aren't fair elections. They are rigged. And even great candidates taking on miserable ones go down in flames.

Interesting that our problem child states are not automatic mail-in voting. That means that millions of people, mostly dems, are specifically requesting them. It could also be that the state OR NGOs send out invitations to request mail-in ballots. I wouldn't be surprised if it's targeted towards dem voters just like the ballot collection boxes were placed in dem areas. It's all election infrastructure. Likely NGOs like below are doing it;

In Florida the GOP won a landslide. DeSantis and Rubio and everyone else in the Florida GOP won in a red tsunami. The same one the polls showed was happening in the entire country.

Guess what Florida has? Florida has strict Voter ID, strict laws against voter fraud, severe prison terms for anyone caught trying to commit voter fraud, no mail-in ballots sent to every voter, no ballot drop boxes, no ballot harvesting, no ballots accepted for days after Election Day, no counting for days until the desired result is achieved by the Democrat Party.

Isn’t it a funny and strange coincidence that in that state, with all of those strict rules against cheating, the GOP red tsunami happened as predicted? But everywhere else, where there are no strict laws against voter fraud, and they allow all that cheating, the red tsunami fizzled.
