We will never know as there are NO cities inside Ukraine with a 90% ethnic Russian population.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I keep hearing a tiny voice asking, “How many American Troops were involved in retaking Kherson”?

It took a lot of Ukes, US, and European troops months to capture a city that was vacant.

Smart. Real smart.

That's why the Ukes have lost 200,000 in this conflict. But, you gotta give it to them. They did all of this with no electricity, no running water, or no toilets that flushed -- all from being bombed into oblivion while fleecing us out of $60,000,000,000 with much more to come.

Hey thanks for making $hit up. Find someone who can explain the difference between the numbers 1939 and 1941. Once you accomplish that, ask them if they’ll read a history book to you.

Yup. Until Putin sent in his outside agitators. None of these territories minded being within Ukraine on the maps. The citizens could not have cared less, one way or the other. Even if they were/are Russian speaking.

All they cared about is not crazy taxation rates and if the government mostly left them alone. This works for me.

I would guess that the next big operation would be in Zaporizhzhkia - some kind of drive perhaps towards Melitopol that would sever the Russian land bridge to the rest of Kherson and Crimea. If Ukraine takes Kamianske, Myrne, Nesteryanka, etc. moving towards Vasilivka, then that will be the tipoff.

The Russians likely expect that at some point, but you don't always have the luxury of attacking where they don't expect.

I know it’s much too much to ask you to read a history book. You could ask someone who has read a history book to explain Barbarossa to you and Hitler’s 1941 alliance of Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovakia and the Anschluss divisions.

Taking the rest of Kherson now could be either a blessing or a curse. On the one hand, it chops the Russian occupied area in two and isolates Crimea, but on the other hand it puts Ukrainian forces into a kind of salient where they are surrounded on 2 of 3 sides by the Russians, and vulnerable to counterattack from different directions.

I suppose the Ukrainians will be wondering whether the Russians have the wherewithal to even mount a counterattack at this point though.

It's pretty hilarious that you guys who tell us to quit judging Russia by the Cold War standards of the 1980's have zero problems going all the way back to the 1940's to justify modern-day Russian aggression. Newsflash - every single person who participated in Operation Barbarossa is either dead, or in a nursing home. And you'd have a hard time finding enough warlike Germans nowadays to have a good game of Risk.

In contrast, Cold War era Soviet imperialists, including Putin, are still running Russia.

I guess we will never know the truth in the USA since we do not have reliable media on either side of the issue.

We do know that Ukraine never acknowledged the internationally recognized Minsk II accord, an agreement that they signed. That's the whole point of this war.

All true! Boring thieving f'ing communist tarts with no real military to back them up. I rather look at Kate Moss and her sagging wares these days. Putin the fag. The gay faggot. His Russia Army looks like the Mouse That Roared

Go back to 1991 when NATO hustled the Warsaw Pact. In which direction has 100% of the hegemony rolled? “Not one inch east of the Uke/Russian border!”. Quit lying about what I said. You idiot warmongers casually talk about fighting WWIII with Russians. YOU fools totally dismiss every lesson leaned in Cold War I. MAD, what’s MAD? You neocon globalist stooges have succeeded, you and your big guy have your Cold War II. Will it take Hot Nuclear War I to satiate your bloodlust?

Russia withdrew across the Dnieper

They are winning or holding everywhere else

It’s a multi battle site war

Long term favors Russia

No question

NATO or not

The word on the street is that Zeepers oil their heads with duck fat so facts can't penetrate. So there's that.

We call it “ethnic cleansing”. The Ukies and Russians are just too intermingled, both there and here in my neck of the woods...upstate NY.
