Bore! Donald Trump has gone and lost his swing
New York Post ^ | November 12, 2022 | Michael Goodwin

For Donald Trump, politics and entertainment are intertwined and often synonymous. His remarkable success at both makes his latest missteps especially puzzling because Trump is committing the cardinal sin of both: He’s become boring.

The ultimate shock jock is now predictable. Wind him up and watch him throw a garbage can full of insults at anyone who won’t kiss the ring. Ho-hum.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin are getting the Trump treatment now. Both are rising Republican stars, so naturally the former president trashes and demeans them. Can’t be competition for top dog.

Long gone is the time when Trump brought fresh blood to the old and tired Republican Party. “Low energy Jeb” brilliantly ended the career of a nominee-in-waiting, and his demolition of Hillary Clinton saved America from a disaster.

Trump’s was a consequential presidency that was far better for America and its global allies than anything produced by his predecessor or his successor. His Operation Warp Speed delivered a COVID-19 vaccine in record time, America was more prosperous and the world was safer and more stable with him in the Oval Office.

Trump achieved those gains despite a corrupt FBI, a conspiratorial Deep State, a rabid media and impeachment-obsessed Dems. He deserved a second term and, had he let his America First policies do the talking, would have had one.

Even after his reckless efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, enough goodwill remained that victory in a 2024 primary and the general election remained possible. But Trump’s conduct in his post-presidency has been so erratic that a declining slice of voters hungers for his return.

You can spin it and try and deflect it all you wish, but Trump’s latest wounds are self-inflicted. Give it a rest.

They were the “Downstairs” people in the great NYC mansions, and servants in the grand hotels. Parlor maids, chauffeurs, gardeners, stable hands, etc.

Today, their descendants are CEO’s, doctors, lawyers, college professors, small business owners, stockbrokers, etc.

Many conclusions can be drawn.

It seems that bad times can lead to good times for hardworking people of faith and fortitude.

Round and round the human race goes.

Thank you for the courteous response.

My issue is that I don't see any reason to believe that 2024 would be any better in terms of his ability to put together a good team around him. He seems to have alienated even more potential subordinates than in 2020. For example, Elaine Chao was the longest serving member of his cabinet, but now gets referred to publicly "as Coco Chow". I just don't see him as having a loyal, smart, and savvy senior advisor around him who could serve him well when it comes to filling those positions.

He just seems to have burned an awful lot of bridges. Perhaps I'm wrong, and perhaps he has a truly excellent slate of appointees in mind who would be willing to take those positions. But I'd have to see that before I believe it.

There are economic problems caused by things like the dust bowl - and economic problems caused by things like printing so much money inflation is the ONLY outcome possible.

Some disasters happen with full knowledge some were mistakes of delusional thinking. Starvation in the old USSR was caused by delusional thinking mixed with totalitarian power. Who in today’s world is insane enough to think ‘collective farming’ would work? No one.

If Biden nationalized all the farms and forced city people on them to work the fields we’d have starvation. If Biden allows five million illegals into the country it’ll cause overcrowding in our schools and a destabilized culture. It’ll also decrease wages for the working class. If Biden puts our debt higher than our GDP he could bankrupt the country. Some things are known.

Well folks, the GOPe is teeing it off for De Santis.

If he gets the nom and loses, there’s no protecting the US or Florida.

Is there a collective full brain in all the GOPe?

Some folks here are thrilled with the possibility of this eventuality.
You just can’t help stupid people, and they are happy to drag you
and the whole nation down with them

The Biggest problem in farming, industry, manufacturing, etc is nobody wants to do it when they can work in an office and get paid more than the invaluable producers, just mentioned.

Biden can nationalize whatever he wants, nobody will show up to work in agriculture, its laughable. Especially with Mr and Mrs Scientist/Regulator financially harassing these producers out of existence.(See Western Europe and the Anglosphere countries and study their green scientific playbook)

The attitude that we can all live like little aristocrats while slaves and robots do everything is a fantasy world.

“Graham’s blatant sabotage is on display for everyone to see.”“

Graham’s sabotage did not have to be out there for everyone to see. Tech savvy people know how to target an audience. The Dems anger about overturning Roe v. Wade had died down as people realized that their states were doing exactly what they had always done.

What Graham proposed, and defended with a smarmy smirk when asked about it by Jessie Waters, was relayed by social media., to young people who, sadly, care about keeping the right to abortion. That and the unconstitutional promise to cancel student debt brought out many young voters who, otherwise, might have just not bothered to vote.

Republicans in DC are not just the stupid party. Even worse, they are the complicit party.

Its perfectly fine to question or criticize President Trump - but don’t forget that the enemy is always looking for opportunities to divide us.

If anyone doubts there are trolls all around us, instigating, needling and trying their best to set up a circular firing squad among us - they are being naive.

There is a concerted effort by our enemies specifically to pit DeSantis supporters against Trump supporters - and it is succeeding all too often.

So I ask you this: how do we distinguish between the actual trolls and the people who mean well by their criticisms? Should we not confront people we feel are acting trollish - for fear of falsely accusing someone?

I don’t think so. There are real trolls here and they need to be confronted.

Maybe what Trump is teaching us is that we all need to get thicker skin and let free speech be free speech - we all need to speak up and call out fake news and trolling when we see it - even if it means we sometimes wrongly accuse someone - or get wrongly accused - of being a troll or whatever.

I don’t claim to have a solution - but I don’t think being silent is the answer. President Trump is anything but silent - and I think that’s refreshing.

Maybe what Trump is teaching us is that

TEACHING us?

You need to be TAUGHT that? Or anything else?

Are you some kind of retard or maybe a little child?

Well, you go along and learn things there, junior.

Pay close attention and learn your lessons.

I always go down the page on Google or any search engine. I use Advanced Google search when I want to get recent results.
I tried to search for how many Trump endorsed candidates won. Fox article was only one I found on 2 or 3 pages of search results, then I read article. Enough research for me.
