Ok so Paramount came out with this show called “The Good Fight” in which a gay guy accused Ron DeSantis of sexual assault. It was supposed to be fiction.
In the end the governor was not found guilty.
However, inserting a real person into a piece of fiction involving a crime, especially a crime of this nature, is in my view slander (I am not a lawyer, so don’t take my view as a legal opinion).
If I were Ron I would sue for defamation. Paramount could have used a fictional rather than a real character.
