The chickens have come home to roost for Donald Trump in Pennsylvania. After he stuck his nose in the state’s Republican primary process last May against the guidance of his most loyal advisers, many of his once-devoted followers say they are done with the former president.

“If you’re a Republican in Pennsylvania and you look at Donald Trump’s bigfooting of the people in Pennsylvania and the implosion of his candidates in Pennsylvania, you’re pretty upset,” said Urban, a Washington-based strategist who grew up in Beaver County, Pa.
Urban said his phone has been ringing all week with county chairs and committee people who tell him they’ve had it with Trump.
“They said, ‘Look, we’re done. We’re done with him. He cost us this election and we’re done.’”
He’s not the only one. All day Wednesday my phone lit up with calls and emails from voters who expressed the exact same frustration. One woman said she saw the writing on the wall last weekend when Trump decided to take a swipe at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — calling him “Ron DeSanctimonious” — while he campaigned for Oz and Mastriano in Pennsylvania.
And when Trump went on to tease that he was going to announce “something big” next week (presumably his run for president in 2024), she knew it would hurt Oz on Election Day.
“I had a pit-of-my-stomach moment as I watched the rally,” said the former Trump fan, who did not want to be named. “It is hard to quit Trump — I voted for him twice enthusiastically.” But “at this juncture, I think we have to move forward to a new generation of leaders.”

I feel like we are stuck in a loop of people: many who see Trump as a messiah & wont entertain anything else & think anyone with objections is a plant or an establishment troll/// people who call themselves conservative but have Begun campaigning & voting for Democrats (like Cheney & the Bushes) even though they opppose the values one another stand for/// and finally theres people like me who are deeply, completely conservative, voted for Trump twice, love him & see his faultss but think that someone différent us needed for a new time & new election & feel deeply depressed because I know that we should all be pulling together to win elections- but arent and the real enemy us laying seige to our country while we fight amongst ourselves
Less than insightful article. Trump won about 250 races and lost about 10. Pennsylvania did vote for an obvious stroke victim, so it’s hard to defend them.
That said, President Trump has to run a primary campaign just like everyone else. He’ll win or he won’t. If he wins the nomination, then he’ll go up against whoever the democrats run.
If he loses, my guess is that the winner will be whoever sweet talks the most money out of our oligarch billionaires.
Then we’ll find out if they really like him or if he was just a sacrificial lamb.
Where have I heard this before...oh yeah, right before Trump was elected the last time.
Trump doesn’t need to disappear — yet; but he’s in trouble if he doesn’t stop picking fights with with rising Republicans who are getting good things done to save America.

Hes going to win in 2024. Like he did in 2020. Whether or not the democrats steal it again is a different question.
We need Trump to fix the economy.
