I can rattle you off statistics about how much better America was two years ago. Gas prices were roughly half of what they are now. There was about a third less fentanyl crossing the border. We were also not on the brink of nuclear war with Russia.
You know how much better life was under President Donald Trump than Biden, you don’t need me to tell you that. It’s time now, though, to look to the future.
The job President Trump started was not finished. Only Trump can be trusted to enact the “America First” agenda he ran on in 2016. We won’t accept any imitation. Despite what many Washington, D.C., conservative elites want you to believe, we are not in the “post-Trump era” or close to it. We are still in the midst of the revolution started by Trump when he rode down that golden escalator.
Just look at who is lined up against Trump already in the 2024 primary. It’s folks like Paul Ryan or billionaire mega-donor Ken Griffin, who is planning to back a Trump challenge. Politico reports Griffin “wants to … blunt the vein of populism that has complicated the party’s relationship with the corporate world.”

That long list of accomplishments is impressive.
I can’t think of anyone from any of the major parties who could do that. But in order for Trump to get back in the Oval Office for Part Two, he has to first inspire the trust and confidence of enough voters. Millions have to be convinced that he is now capable to lead the country. Some may need reminding of items on that list: what he has done before and under very trying circumstances. Can he stay focused on the job at hand? Many are less sure now than before.
Trump’s recent infighting is making a lot of people question whether he is now capable of comtrolling his impulse to go after and to diminish people, including those from his own party. It looks like plain old jealousy, and it’s not a good look.
After years of Biden lying, dividing citizens by race, appointing rather strange people to cabinet positions, having a wacky empty headed VP, Siccing his Dept. of Justice on parents of schoolchildren, giving “Red Sermons” dropping billion dollar Money Bombs on Ukraine, and leaving the borders wide, wide open, people have a greater need for stability this time. Stability in character vs noisy fireworks. Dialog, not necessarily dynamite.
Some are questioning if Trump remains so embittered by The Big Vote Steal, that now he finds it near impossible to settle down, near impossible to treat other GOP members with consideration and respect. Right now, that answer is not at all clear.
How can Trump or any President stop hacking of the voter rolls and counterfeiting of ballots? There is no federal authority to do such. It’s all at the state level.
Have you not done your homework and research before giving an opinion?
The hardest three words for opinionated judgmental people to say is I DON’T KNOW. Everyone seems to think their unfounded, baseless, second rate opinion has value. It does not. So many people just like to see their words on a message board when it is clear to a seasoned observer that such people haven’t a clue of what they’re talking about.
In the military, we can’t have people who act like they know but actually don’t know what is up. We train members to say I DON’T KNOW BUT I WILL FIND OUT SIR.
Saying you don’t know when you don’t know is a sign of honesty. Taking responsibility to find out facts and report what is found is a sign of trustworthiness. Waiting to act before facts are clear is a sign of maturity and wisdom.
President Trump is ONE PERSON. It will take the Amerucan people to unify and work like hell together to achieve effective reform. What President Trump can do is make the American people aware of what is happening and then inspire them to take action to preserve their freedoms.

The primary mission is to get organized at the state and county levels and get rid of the machines, AND implement voter roll security, AND require in-person voting with Voter ID, AND get all counting done in ONE DAY. Maybe throw in a voting holiday for people who work or have kids, etc.
Do any other advanced nations do it this way and get it done?
Yes, two examples are France and Netherlands. France has 80 million people, with voters votes and counts using paper ballots getting all done in one day. Netherlands the same except Netherlands uses monitoring cameras to real-time audit the process. Can you imagine a real-time audit?
Why haven’t you heard of these Americans who are working their butts off to make our elections clean and transparent? Ask yourself how do you get your information? Your news?

Donald Trump can’t do what these people and countless others are doing. But President Trump provides the promoting and leadership, the self-sacrifice, the courage and inspiration.
President Trump is vital to defeating the election rigging and enemy state. He has knowledge and insight that most every American doesn’t.
As for DeSantis, I am sensing there are skeletons in his closet, by his reticence, silence, possibly alignment with McConnell and McCarthy. I sense this is why Trump launched a warning shot. We are not going the way of the Tea Party.
For now, remember President Trump says McConnell has got to go. And we know McConnell is the front man for billions of $ in outside interests, and we know McConnell would like to see Trump out of politics.
Is McConnell talking to DeSantis?

So all of this “Dump Trump” narrative is not a groundswell from the electorate but rather a pre-emptive attack from the Uniparty trying to disguise their own culpability in creating higher than warranted expectations of election successes to then blame Trump for not having achieved them. They can’t beat his support head to head so they are trying to undermine it. And can anyone think of anyone in the political arena who has had the shear magnitude of vitriol and underhanded opposition that he has endured? And finally, does anyone think DeSantis will not face the same?

I so agree. Far too many FReepers have forgotten how the GOP leadership co-opted the Tea Party and stopped the effectiveness of the Tea Party
And it’s not “just politics”. There are billions of kickback dollars to be made by those who retain leadership roles and their allies should they so choose.
Not Election Week or Month.
And either go back to counting paper ballots or simplify the electronic system. For crying out loud every state in the nation can whip up lottery winners every night why is determining the winners in an election cycle so difficult?
