Trump hated Rubio (as a rival) and attacked him very personally.
But Rubio actually was/is good. I live in Florida and when he came to my town at the start of his campaign I was impressed. He’s a smart man, he is a genuine conservative and Trump should have tried to work with people like Rubio.
Instead Trump left the Deep State in place and just complained about it. And tren obeyed it (with the shutdown and the vax). And I know there’s excuses for this.
McConnell was good at getting the judicial nominations through. But he was horrible at everything else.
However, while I don’t like the fact that he used money to support Lisa Murkowski, he did spend it. I’m sure Trump has a PAC (he’s supposedly sitting on $100 million for his campaign). So maybe he could pitch in to support some candidates?
I’m glad Rubio is calling out McConnell because McConnell, like many others in DC, is past his sell-by date.

Typically, what percentage of the money for senate campaigns is spent by senators, and what percentage by presidential candidates?
I understand the sentiment (in a limited way) of people asking why Trump didn’t donate, but my question is, whose job is it to allocate the money? Trump’s or the Speaker’s? The GOP needs to get its shit together or this will keep happening.
