Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), a close ally of former President Trump, says Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) should stay on as governor amid rumors that he could challenge Trump for the GOP nomination in 2024.

Greene did not directly mention DeSantis’s potential interest in a 2024 run in a Twitter thread on Friday but said that losing a “strong Republican governor” early because political consultants are urging them to run for president hurts the country because it leaves their states weak and vulnerable to poor leadership or Democratic control.

We in Florida loved it. Funny thing is Trump needs Florida in 2024. I guess he better start respecting the state.

Trump was betrayed by the pubbies in congress, the corporate media, the deep state, celebrities, and the nation betrayed by the dims, some pubbies, the courts, the education system for the country, corporations, and the youth culture machine. He understandably is angry about it because almost every negative thing said about the man are bald face lies. Looks like we are gonna have another dim SOS in Az. Just damn. Too many illegals and Kalli types moving here.

Not working now. We had a red trickle at best. This is the third election that we got smashed. This is not fun. We basically won the election 2016 that was six years ago going on seven. somethings not working. what that is, is pretty damn obvious.

We weren’t doing all that great before 2016, Bush set the GOP way back for years before Trump came into the picture.

I’ll vote for Dubya if he was running against Biden. At least Dubya was pro-oil. He was able to cut taxes. No crazy climate agreements in Paris.

59 percent of Floridians are grateful he didn’t answer Crist’s stupid question that had nothing to do with the governor race.

Funny DeSantis open May 1, 2020. Again well before Trump made, his interest known In June. Trump followed the leader. I like it.

And of course it doesn't logically follow that a person who voted for DeSantis for governor didn't want an answer to that question, you "stupid" "idiot" (both your words, not mine).

In the process, Trump’s idiot tirades since the weekend have lot a huge amount of former supporters this week. He just created a mile wide opening for Desantis or someone else to run through.

He is surrounded now by yes-men since the 2020 election.
