Former President Donald Trump criticized Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida Thursday in a statement posted on Truth Social, calling him an “average” governor who was “politically dead” and in “desperate shape” before Trump endorsed him in 2017.
“Ron came to me in desperate shape in 2017—he was politically dead, losing in a landslide to a very good Agriculture Commissioner, Adam Putnam, who was loaded up with cash and great poll numbers. Ron had low approval, bad polls, and no money, but he said that if I would Endorse him, he could win,” Trump said in the statement. DeSantis defeated Adam Putman, the Republican Agriculture Commissioner, in the 2018 Republican primary for governor by 20%, according to Ballotpedia.

The massachusetts governor won by 30 points and she is well below average!
If Trump is the candidate I’m most definitely supporting him. Still, Trump’s narcissism gets old.

I have been here since ‘98. I changed my name in 05 when I moved from TX to VA.
I will wait and watch the situation develop. We may not know everything going on here.
Seems unlikely.
Don is rapidly losing ground against Ron now and DeSavage hasn't even shown up yet.
If Ron waits a bit longer, Don will knock himself out.
I am now officially tired of Trump. Won’t be voting for him again (unless he somehow wins the 2024 nomination)
He served a purpose but I never had any love for him. I believe that purpose is over.
