Pennsylvania Democrats believe they have taken control of the state House for the first time in more than a decade, an outcome that was considered a long shot by even the most optimistic Democrats but that has not yet been confirmed by independent analysts.
Republicans on Wednesday said the declaration of victory was premature. They’re pinning their hopes on a handful of close races in the Philadelphia suburbs where the candidates are separated by hundreds — or in some cases just dozens — of votes.
Democrats said it showed that a favorable redistricting process in Pennsylvania gave them a fighting chance, and that swing voters were moved by Harrisburg’s now-total control over abortion policy in Pennsylvania.

How else could men as women/women as men, drag queens, murdering our infants, grooming children for sex, legal marijuana, etc, be infecting our once great country? The inmates are running the asylum.
There are 67 counties in Pennsylvania. 45 of them lost population between the 2010 and 2020 census years. And all that population decline has been seen in the vast rural areas that are dominated by Republican voters.
Pennsylvania is a dying state in many ways. Like neighboring New York, it has been losing House seats in Congress for decades.

A. It was no surprise whatsoever after the Democrat gerrymandering took place months ago. I’ve been calling this outcome for months — it would be close, and GIVEN that it would be close the flip would very likely happen. The PA Senate is possibly (or probably) next, after the 2024 elections.
B. Bipartisan commission, my ass. The PA Democrat Supreme Court did this, just like it screwed the GOP at the national level in 2018 by overturning the legal congressional map which was legally passed by the legally-elected GOP state legistlature.
And then the PA Democrat Supreme Court AGAIN used their illegally implemented 2018 congressional map as a starting point to screw the Republicans AGAIN in 2022 and beyond.

Hmmmm, interesting if true. So the suburban Philly voters, many of whom would probably not step a toe into Philadelphia, given the crime and the fact that it rivals Chicago for the number of murders, went with the Democrats that have done nothing but brought all that chaos and violence on the cities. Got it.
If that is the case, then soon they will realize that at some point, the city folks will start venturing out to the ‘burbs. Places where their county cops will soon be overwhelmed, become disgruntled and demoralized and start doing nothing but clocking time, waiting to get to retirement and they can all move to Florida.
And guess what.....it’ll all be Pres Trump’s fault.

I mean, after all, the econ9my is booming, prices have never been so,low, our constitutional rights are being protected like never before, our border is open and illegals are pouring in and taking money fro. Our nation and giving it to them but ats ok because Americans are racists, our national defense is ailing, our energy I dependence has disappeared, we will likely be subjected to International law and lose our sovereignty etc etc etc. Why wouldn’t people vote for more of the same liberal leadership awesomeness? /S

Voting machines are unnecessarily complex. For example, a simple ladder program and machine control type computer from Texas Instruments, plus paper tape recorder will satisfy the purpose of an election. A Model T basic voting machine.
That, as a replacement for the overly-sophisticated grandees that are a well-funded statistcian’s playground.
As a goal, if you are determined to fight for integrity.
The dims flipped the Virginia house and controlled everything by a simple majority and acted like they had a mandate and turned into tyrants passing horrible, restrictive laws. That was under Maculffie.
Look now where that got them. Hoping the same thing will happen in PA. I have no doubt they will overstep their bounds and turn into tyrants, but will the people respond the same way as in VA.

Thanks. Yeah, hopefully the people react by voting those creeps out... of thye can get fair elections to do so. But like we see in Michigan, apparently the people wanted tyrant ruling over them there (although there is some talk now that cheating happened there as well, but who knows).
Either this country is moving more and more into socialism/marxism willingly, or there is heavy cheating going on to ensure that it is moving in that direction.

“The people want to be taken care of” (ie they want govenrment giving them everything, and they are willing to give up constitutio al protections and freedoms in order to receive it)

The problem is that the folks who run for office don’t reflect the people.
You usually get a Giant Douch vs a Turd Sandwich. Good people, who are successful in life, don’t want to get their hands dirty and get into politics. Can’t say I blame them, but this is one of the consequences of a society in decline.

Kathleen Kane had an associate mail porn to the PA Supreme Court Justices and then started an investigation into them viewing porn. They resigned and a special election was held with like, 15% turnout and the Dems replaced the GOP on the court. And we have the same court today.
