No way.
Nonsense.
We have FR people who are from Europe and Germany and they say otherwise; that everything is A-OK.

we also have kooks here who say Europe is “about to collapse” or “everyone there will freeze to death this winter” LOL

so there’s a lot of nonsense on these threads

We have one Zelenskyite from Berlin who has been economically forced to ride a bike to his job at McDonalds. Maybe he’ll check in and give us a report?

Perhaps.

Long stated the problems for Europe are not short-term - i.e.: this Winter. Their problems are long-term, this coming year, next Winter, the following year, etc.

The replacement for cheap Russian gas is going to be a long-term quest for the EU, and findings those replacements are not going be solved in the short-term, if ever short of Europe itself going against the Euro-greenies and weenies and building coal plants, nuclear plants, etc. en masse.

Our big guy has also ensured us that there’ll be no similar increases in America. FR needs to get after the Putin stooges who keep posting that Russian propaganda about New England, USA heating bills!

They’ve got a replacement.

Have you seen our energy exports stats...?

Biden isn’t the antichrist.
He’s just clearing the way for his arrival.

This might be a test case from the WEF for the people of Europe (first), and then us. Are they willing to accept not using cheap energy but only expensive energy (like wind, solar, etc.) which the government will provide. Or will the rise up and demand cheap, plentiful carbon based energy, which they know that the governments can allow? They might be testing Europe first before they take us on.

Qatar?

Is that why the proposal for price caps did not happen, given Qatar threatened Europe that if such did take place, they would halt gas shipments to Europe?

Even if their energy bills are 90% higher the Europeans are satisfied and warming themselves with the idea that they are standing up to Putin and decimating his army.

I would say good they deserve it, but energy is a somewhat global commodity with fossil fuel prices depending on world supply so it I’ll affect our prices too.
