Biden is branded 'arrogant' for saying he won't change 'anything' after midterms - despite Dems being on the verge of losing control of the House and Senate

President Biden insisted that he wouldn't change anything after Democrats had a better night than expected in Tuesday's midterm races

Asked what he would alter, given 75% say they are unhappy with the country's direction, he said: 'Nothing, because they're just finding out what we're doing' Critics accused the president of arrogance, noting that he was crowing as if he had secured a huge victory, when in fact Congress was too close to call

Yet the president was in a jovial mood after his party kept a red wave from crashing over the country in House, Senate and gubernatorial races He mocked the media for its predictions going into election night - which had him and his Democrats doing badly

Joe Biden has been accused of acting 'arrogantly' after he insisted that he would not change course, despite coming perilously close to losing control of the House and Senate.

With both races too tight to call, the president insisted on Wednesday that he won't change anything - even though a majority of voters said the country was on the wrong track.

Yet many felt the tone was inappropriate.

'Joe Biden delivering an arrogant and delusional press conference from the White House,' said Nile Gardiner, a foreign policy analyst.

'No humility from a president whose party is on course to lose control of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate too. This man is completely tone deaf.'

Andy Biggs, a Republican congressman representing Arizona, tweeted: 'Totally disconnected. Arrogance at its finest.'

Author and attorney David Limbaugh said that Biden's 'arrogance' and unwarranted victory lap could help the Republican cause.

'Further rationalizing, the Dems' relatively good, not strong, showing might lead Biden to be even more arrogant and defiant, and maybe that causes him to be even more unpopular,' Limbaugh said.

Who is more incoherant? Biden or Fettergoon? I await the day Fettergoon actually appears in the US Senate building. This will be good for laughs. Along with his communist illegal alien wife. She and fake Doc Jill can compare their babysitting notes.

The Rat party doesn’t give a crap about Fritterbrain. The new governor will appoint who they want when the goon goes off line completely.

The answer to your question is neither. The real incoherant people is everyone who voted for either of them.

Biden isn’t going to change anything. This was not a chastising election for Biden.

All things said, his party did pretty damn good.

This also squashes any talk about removing him from the ticket in ‘24.

“The real incoherant people is everyone who voted for either of them.”

This!

Also I heard a breakdown of the 18-29 age bracket that voted +28 Dem. They described the majority as “single, unhappy women” who are must subject to fear.

FEAR was the campaign the D’s put on in the last couple of weeks. R’s will imprison you, kill your kids, end democracy, end the world....

A note of caution. I have been following closely the remaining House races. The GOP is going to struggle to reach 218. Control of the House is not a sure thing.

Maybe Joe knows this, hence his arrogance. Without control of the House or Senate, there will be no change of direction and no investigations.

A lot of people still have not accepted that our present system of voting is deeply corrupted. This midterm experience ought to wake patriots up to the fact that if we are unable to get rid of all the means and methods now in place - mail-in ballots, early voting, drop boxes, algorithm-programmed vote machinery, etc., the Country is lost. If the present corrupt system remains in place, we are as screwed as Brazil and Balsinaro. Cheating six ways from Sunday is all about how political power is maintained by Communists and third-world rigged ‘voting’ is now firmly in place in the U.S.A. If you still believe it's not so, you are in the first of five stages of grieving the death of the U.S.A., which is denial. Brain-dead Biden has every reason to celebrate while slapping you in the face because the Marxists/Communists know they now have us by the throat and this midterm verifies it.

At this point I do not care what Brandon says.

All I know is Republicans better act like they own the place, period.

Democrats didn’t have a “mandate” for the last 4 years either, but they sure acting and legislated like it. That’s a lesson we need to learn.

And as we know the house of economics is burning down, we better have some plans. If all we got is revenge on the table we will lose in 2024, because the media is only going to focus on how Republicans did not pay attention to the country’s needs in a time of economic meltdown and war.

Considering we did not flip a single governor race and the covid-tyrants are still in control who gave us voting by mail, you can kiss the country goodbye.

In my crazy Pennsylvania, we now have a Democrat governor and, most likely, a Democrat Assembly. Vote-by-mail is here to stay and will be strengthened.

It is not Biden who is arrogant. It is the staff behind him that has an attitudinal problem. These people are beyond description dangerous. Sad that the majority of conservatives don’t even realize that. They really do not.

See my post #8. The GOP may not gain control of the House or Senate this time around. The Dems are stealing races right now. Big mail-in voter drop in NV will wash away the Reps. And the GOP chances of reaching 218 in the House are 50/50. We could fall one or two short.

Unless we change the process of voting the GOP will become the permanent minority party. Election fraud is being institutionalized.

Well Biden isn't too bright, by the way he was grinning at that press conference you would think democrats won 50 seats in the House and took the Senate by a filibuster proof margin (and who knows? That might have been what his advisors told him happened).

Biden is quickly going to learn that "close" only counts in hand grenades and horseshoes. It doesn't matter if Republicans control the House by 5 seats or 95 seats. They still control all the committees and if the Republican Speaker doesn't bring a piece of legislation to the floor, it doesn't get voted on.

So, while, yes, I will not deny democrats did better than most expected. In the end the result will be exactly the same as if they had the biggest red wave in history. Biden's legislative agenda is utterly dead. And, sorry to break the democrats bubble, but there will be no national right to abortion law, or build back better, or climate change bill, or anything else they want, because to stop it all the Republicans have to do is...well...nothing, just refuse to bring it up in the house.

“…Biden’s ‘arrogance’ and unwarranted victory lap could help the Republican cause...”

76 percent seeing the country on the wrong track didn’t help. The demons can afford a little arrogance. Nothing they do seems to matter.

Ideologues gotta keep practicing the ideology, damn the cost to the rest of the world. And if the spokesmen are incoherent in pronouncing the specifics of that ideology, all the better.

The minions acting in the background are already well programmed to carry out all the most barbarous elements of their version of the “New World Order”, and having mumbling fools up front as the figureheads, they may work their mischief in relative obscurity.

On the other hand it just might be the best thing ever if we do not take the House or Senate too.

I do not see Biden or any of his regime able, able to pull the nation out of where the world is heading. And they will not be able to handle it once we get there.

That said, if World Depression and War, fully manifests in 2023...let the Democrats own that.

No matter what 2023 will be a rough ride. And it will be a decade to stabilize the world again.
