No fibbing Rino or cynical Democrat has ever done what Trump did for Israel, but we have the like of Ben Shapiro.

Something is very suspicious here.

I was just reading this. Personally I think that Governor Ron is too smart to fall for the false accolades that will lead to diminishment and failure for the GOP. But I don’t know him that well and I’m already mildly suspicious of him, so I guess that remains to be seen.

I know this is a repetition, but you gotta ask yourself: If you were someone like J3b Bush or M1tt Romney - wanting power and control over large numbers of people but knowing you’ll never be elected president - what would you do?

You would try to get the top performers in the party to fight. That way, neither of them win and the party is reduced. (And you, having predicted it, will look like a savant.)

I’ve been a member of this board since 2009 - I know a lot of y’all have been on much longer than that BUT - and I had to stop coming here in 2016 because there was so much negativity and just weird, depressing sh1t about Donald Trump who, in spite of all the stupidity, managed to beat Hilldog and become the best president in our lifetimes, or at least a tie for best.

I would visit freerepublic in 2016 and I would just be kind of astonished at all the “oh, well, you can’t win ‘em all” stuff that started when Trumpy decided to run and then continued throughout his presidency.

That the Left and the RINO squad are going to get all aggressive in pimping Governor Ron - and they already are - is a bad sign. I agree with Mr Hoft that neither Governor Ron, DT, or the Republican party will fare well by giving in to this.

Donald Trump should be the president right now. To say, “Oh well, let’s just look toward the future, shall we?” is to perpetuate the idea that voter fraud is not that big a deal.

Yes: Voter fraud. We can fix it by more voting.

As a side note, I never fail to notice that those who complain the most bitterly about how not-nice Trumpy is are almost certain to be even more not-nice than he is. It’s like a lot of sour, unlovable cranks who complain about everything are jealous of Trump because of his sparklingly witty insults that cause libwads to lose their minds.

Dunno, we might already be on the downward slide with nothing to be done about it - a sign of this might be losers being jealous of a president who excelled at his job, plotting and planning to bring him down for good, and our Constitutional Republic with it.

I’m not supporting Trump this time around, and I won’t vote for him in the primary.

Trump needs to change his tactics to “inform and expose” with no petty, personal attacks. He can be a force for good, but he’s too old to run again. Yes, the election was stolen, but exposure of that truth will be a long time coming, and he needs to realize that fact and shift gears.

A healthy primary process will decide who is the next nominee. I welcome Trump’s candidacy, but I also welcome other candidates as well.

If Trump wants to tamp down criticism from republicans, he may want to stop all the sophomoric nonsense such as lying Ted, Slow Jeb, little Marco and the latest...Ron DeSanctimonious.

Trying to blow out someone else’s candle in an effort to make yours glow brighter is not a way to garner respect. It’s simply childish.

DeSantis is by any measure more conservative than the populist Trump, and the democrats are doing everything they can to push Trump into running because it guarantees them another presidential victory, and another underperforming election down-ballot.

The “RINOS” just would like to win some elections for the party they pretend to be a part of. Although they have a lot in common with Trump, as both RINOS and Trump will happily endorse democrats in major important elections against republicans.

in Effort to Dethrone President Trump

Envisioning Trump on a throne sums up the views of his rabid fans very well indeed. I, for one, look for a servant, not a master, when voting.

But Trump has made it clear that, like the Bourbons, restored to the throne of France when Napoleon was overthrown, he has learned nothing, and forgotten nothing.

“Has DeSantis said anything in Kari Lake’s defense? “

What does one say to defend an Obama democrat?
