Oz concedes Senate race to Fetterman

Pennsylvania will get, and deserve, what Pennsylvania voted for. “Stupid is as stupid does” becomes “stupid is as stupid votes for”. Someone said once “you can vote yourselves into socialism but the only way back out isn’t by the ballot box but by the cartridge box”. Not pretty but pretty true.
well, good for you, Fetterman “understands you”. Vote for a pro-criminal thug, get crime.

Look at the Election Day totals and then the mail in totals.
Sorry, I don’t agree with no excuse mail in ballots... not in anyway... however Oz didn’t lose because the “fix was in” he lost because he was flat out a LOUSY candidate.
GOP win most counties in PA, bit deal... like most states with lots of rural counties and some large urban areas.. that’s how it goes every time
On a county count OZ won the majority of counties, Republicans always win the majority of counties...
However, he didn’t win those counties remotely near the margins he needed to to counter the deficit he had in the bigger urban counties.
I actually work the polls every year in my district. I spend 5 am to 9pm making sure my neighbors get to vote, I know ever person who enters my polling place, and I know ever person who mailed in a ballot.
This is a small suburban district that is slightly Republican.... this is a district that OZ should have won, albeit slightly.. he didn’t he lost. He had a small in person lead, and wound up with a slight loss... this wasn’t fraud. I know ever single person who voted mail in and I can with very high certainty tell you how they voted... OZ lost, period. These mail in votes weren’t fraudulent. This scene was repeated across the T in PA yesterday... OZ underperformed in the parts of PA where as a GOP candidate you better run up the score.... and he didn’t, not remotely by the margins needed to take out the Democrat.
Was there fraud in PA? Oh I am sure there was, but fraud didn’t cost OZ the election, OZ costed Oz, the election, he was just a lousy off brand candidate, period... an anyone who’s lived in PA outside of the Philly NJ border area could have (and some of us did, repeatedly) told you from the start that OZ was not likely to stand a chance in PA.
Rather than listen to folks who actually have lived in this state for decades telling you observations that didn’t jive with your desired narratives, you instead chose to listen to flappy lipped blowhards out of NYC and DC who’s full experience with PA is perhaps they drove the turnpike once 40 years ago tell you have PA was going to behave, and how OZ was a great candidate, and was going to do so well in PA.
Hopefully going forward these folks have learned their lesson and will take the time to listen and give consideration to input that doesn’t reinforce what you desire to be true, especially when they are closer to the issue in question than you or the loudmouths on TV or talk radio are.
PA Senate race was absolutely an UNFORCED ERROR... and sadly the $100,000,000 spent trying to put lipstick on the pig named OZ, almost certainly starved truly competitive races where that money could have made a difference.
Run a crap candidate, get a crap result.
Run a crap candidate, get a crap result.
Stop blaming the PA voters for not supporting who you thought they should.
OZ never stood a chance in this race because he was a LOUSY candidate, period. Folks on the ground here warned you from the start, you chose instead to listen to loud mouth mooks out of DC and NYC telling you falsehoods about PA and OZ.
Fetterman’s stroke is the only reason he lost by only 3 points instead of the 6-8 he would have lost by otherwise.
A carpetbagging member of the media/government complex tries to sell himself as a “man of the people” to a blue collar electorate who was never excited in any level for this turd.
Run a crap candidate, get a crap result.
Sure seems that way brother
How very binary of you, because I called out correctly OZ was a crap candidate, then I must be for the other guy?
This race is a joke, period... neither of these turds should be allowed to run for dog catcher, this was LITERALLY an election where, as far as I’m concerned the electorate was allowed to decide do you want your crap sandwich with or without corn... entire thing was a joke from start to finish.
Recognizing the reality of a pathetic candidate for your team and the reality he’s got no chance of winning doesn’t mean you are for the other team..
Your assumption that because I could recognize the futility of Oz’s attempt that I must have voted for the other guy is just stupid.
Next time, hopefully some of the folks who attacked those of us who pointed out the truth to you about PA and what a horrendously off brand candidate Oz was for this state will learn to maybe be open to the input of folks who provide you input you don’t want to hear, over your favorite nightly talking point parrot.
However, I suspect sadly, few actually will learn much from this.
Re “ Rather than listen to folks who actually have lived in this state for decades telling you observations that didn’t jive with your desired narratives, you instead chose to listen to flappy lipped blowhards out of NYC and DC…”
I grew up in North Philadelphia and have lived in PA all my life.
And still do.
And if you lived in the Philly/NJ Border area your entire life then I can see why you might think Oz could have a shot.. because in that area, he probably played better than average. to the GOP electorate there.. but out in the T, where you have to WIN, and WIN HUGE to take PA as Republican statewide... OZ never had a prayer.
I said it from the very start, if OZ was running for some purple congressional district out east, he’d probably stand a good shot at a win... Statewide, however he’s a complete and total off brand to have any prayer at victory.
Oprah must be roaring with laughter. Oprah's curel insult to Oz by declaring that Fetterman was better qualified for the Senate had to also hurt. For sure, Oprah is willing and ready to backstab a friend.
I think you are on to something there, Trav. Just as the USSR had to disintegrate, so must the United States become merely states.
Here in Texas, if the Invasion is to be stopped, the Governor is going to have to do it. We just cannot have a couple million broke non-English speakers strolling in here every year. We need to set up our own border protection and our own immigration policy.
As to inflation: the Blue States will strangle to death on it in about 18 months.
As to newly approved California Baby-murder - if those baby killing people come to Texas, after murdering babies, we should simply exile them back from whence they came, or lock them up forever for murder.
As to “voting” - the sooner that farce is ended, the better. What we are getting is Marxist mob rule. “Elections” mean nothing now. And where does Brandon Junta get the expanding assortment of freaks, punks, weirdos and perverts - they seem to have a never-ending supply of Festermans and Admiral Transfaggots to Lord over and Rule over the economic engine of the country. I really don’t want to make any more money and pay any more taxes to sustain this bullshittery any more.
I saw that today on the PA election site.
Personally, I think the whole Federman versus Dr. Oz drama was just to provide cover for Shapiro getting the governor’s office. He’s a truly dangerous one. He’ll appoint another radical democommie as Secretary of State for PA and control elections.
You can forget about free and fair elections in Pennsylvania for a while
Travis, you’re correct, we need to shed the blue states. It’s like launching a rocket or flying a plane or even a car, you need to get rid of the dead weight.
Indeed wait until he speaks on the senate floor now the democrats have two Biden’s in office.
"I wonder if Oz being a Turk MUSLIM was a factor."
Man what a pisser. Not saying this made the difference, I haven't gotten that far down into the PA-thetic voting demos yet.
I get not voting for Bishop Romney (even though I did) because Planet Kolub and white underwear -- both reasonable objections -- but Oz is patently obviously the most secular, most civic, most American, most domesticated Muslim in the US. I'm going by birth Muslim as opposed to one of these n-rich cRappers who converted in prison lol.
So, Oz consolidated his PA primary win, if you take the total GOP primary candidate outlay of votes it nearly comes to 1.25M, so I expected him to double that in the general election and sure enough: 2,459,060 votes (with 95% reporting).
Strokegoitermann consolidates his primary win, 1.283M -- almost less than Oz to the margin of Oz's 'loss' -- but magically also acquires not only the primary deficit, but juuuust enough extra votes to edge Oz at 2,640,056.
In all likelihood, it's cheating (since cheating can be targeted to any number), but it is also likely to some smaller degree, the over- >50 cohort who just won't vote for a Muslim. And I will not judge them for that -- there are almost surely service people in that group who did the Iraq cf and my allegiance is with service members all day every day.
