Yep. Make no mistake in thinking he is done with Texas politics. His name is well known now, he will bide his time till the dems think he has fooled enough people outside the big cities, then he will run for an office.
I’m by no means a financial scholar but aren’t those donations a right off?
This had to be Beto’s last hurrah.
The guy is a consistent loser, I don’t think anyone in the TX Democrat power and money nexus will promote him again.
Beto’s favorite song should be “I’m a loser” by the Beatles.

Beto O’Rourke Raised $80 million to take on Ted Cruz.
He famously raised $6 million in the first 24 hours of announcing his presidential run and blew through an estimated $17 million.
After wasting nearly $100 million in two failed races, donors lined up to give him another $66 million for the final leg of the trifecta, wasting over $160 million to lose the senate, the presidency and finally the governor’s mansion.
Consider the sorts of people who were willing to go on believing in him and writing him million-dollar checks. Quick hit them up with your best Brooklyn Bridge sales pitch.
An Austin couple gave $2 million to Beto O’Rourke, making up his largest donations yet
“We think Beto is an extraordinary candidate,” Simone Coxe said.
Extraordinary indeed. Not even can waste $160 million and lose some of the most high-profile races in the country. The question is, what will Beto run for next and will anyone give him the cash to do it?
Beto get back to your skater park half pipe.
Ditto’S!
I absolutely HATE Robert Francis! But I hope he runs for sixteen more offices!
All he has accomplished is sucking off MILLIONS of Democrat funds which would have gone to an actual victory, had they not wasted it on Beta O’Rourke!!
How many people could two million dollars have fed?
California transplants.
“Simone and Tench Coxe moved to Austin from Palo Alto, California, in January 2021. Simone Coxe co-founded the public relations firm Blanc & Otus, where she served as CEO for 15 years, and she more recently co-founded CalMatters, the California news nonprofit. Tench Coxe is a former venture capitalist. Simone Coxe has been a prolific political donor in her own right, mainly giving to Democrats, including O’Rourke when he ran for U.S. Senate in 2018.”
Because everybody wants a governor who calls people MFer.
Good question.
They gave to Mitt Romney too!
Simone Coxe has been a prolific political donor in her own right, mainly giving to Democrats, including O’Rourke when he ran for U.S. Senate in 2018. Her husband, however, has a more bipartisan giving history, especially prior to the 2016 presidential election. For example, he gave to Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, as well as the Republican National Committee that year.
“We’re pretty middle of the road,” Simone Coxe said. “We’re moderates, and I’m more of a liberal moderate than he is probably. But I think that’s how we would both describe ourselves. We need commonsense solutions
The sweet sound of money going down the crapper.
HUGE LOSS FOR DEMOCRATS.....Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney just conceded —
a shocking defeat —HE IS THE chair of the House Democrats’

Of having moved from Commiefornia and excreted themselves onto Austin in January, 2021.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m shocked that he couldn’t win on his promise to take guns away from Texans.
Francis O’Rourke. Cultural appropriator extraordinaire. What is it now? $20 million to pretend to be a Mexican where there are overly abundant Mexicans?
That’s one way to p*ss away a ton of cash.
