Abbott won the gubernatorial election by 11 percentage points against O’Rourke’s very well funded campaign. Four years ago, Abbott won by 13 percentage points against a poorly funded Democratic challenger, Lupe Valdez. So the net effect of the spending for O’Rourke was two percentage points, in what appears to be at best a mediocre year for Republicans nationwide.
For our side there is. D’Nesh did time in jail for giving over the 10k limit.
