This sounds crass, but let them freeze.

If there are no consequences, there will be no change in behavior. There may not be a change in behavior anyway.

Most of them vote for this garbage can full of Democrat politicians. They will reap what they have sown.

Maybe their election choice regrets can keep them warm.

Sadly, I still have family up there.

Outside of them, I hope that all the folks that voted for Zeldin and Bolduc have warm homes this winter.

If they voted for Hassan and Hochul, if they freeze to death, oh well. But I bet they’ll still be voting for Democrats for years to come.

Having worked in the industry for a long time, honestly, I really feel like the entire industry should just go Galt. Give them what they ask for: no drilling and no fuel, no energy.

They think energy comes from the plug on the wall.

This insane American Marxist government makes it nearly impossible for us to do our jobs.

I have a wood burner and a fireplace. I’ll be fine. Frankly, I don’t care if they freeze up there. They voted for it.

I hope the suffering in the NE is immeasurable. Give them exactly what they voted for.

Northeast Faces Winter Energy Crisis as Biden Promises ‘No More Drilling’

I'm praying for a non-stop series of Polar Vortexes making it the coldest winter since the Ice Age.

And yesterday they voted to elect and re-elect the very people who have brought this hardship upon them. I once resisted the disparaging word “sheeple” for the mass of voters. I have come to believe it is a very appropriate characterization of much of the herd-like electorate.

I especially hope that every moron in Pennsylvania who voted for Biden 2.0 freezes their ass off. Enjoy the suck.

They made the choice to vote for this. They have to deal with it. Hopefully they’ll see the error of their ways, but I doubt it.

No problem. The Republicans will win the House & Senate, implement a strong domestic pro-energy program and everybody will have toasty houses in the winter, diesel fueled trucks, ships and trains will have plenty of fuel, and we will all live happily ever after.

What a nation of fools that so many of us would rather freeze to death in dark houses than vote "R." I hate to say it, but the nation deserves what it is going to get and it is going to get it good and hard.

I’m guessing that they believe that there will be no freeze, being convinced by that Global Warming thing. Me on the other hand, brought in a couple cords of wood for the winter.

A colder than normal winter in the northeast could mean people literally freezing because of heating oil shortages or their inability to pay the cost of heating. I expect significant deaths among seniors as a result. There is also the spector of power blackouts with the devastating results we saw last year in Texas.

I live here in NH and I hope it is the coldest winter in 100 years.

I would love to see thousands, hundreds of thousands of New Englanders loose electricity, Nat Gas, etc... in the middle of a huge blizzard ... just so they can see the folly of their decisions. I can’t wait to say to people “how are those wind mills and solar panels doing for ya!”.

I have 14 cords of wood to burn so i’m all set.
