Many don’t realize abortion is not just a women’s issue. What man wants his wife or girlfriend to have to carry a rapist’s child for 9 months and then have the possibility of having to pay for it 18 years if his wife decides to keep it? What man who is on a fast track to promotion and working a lot of overtime wants to face the further threat that family planning (contraception) might also become illegal? What family man struggling to earn enough to support the family even with his wife working full or part time wants to face the possibility of an unplanned pregnancy, especial with the current inflation issues?

You make a good point. Abortion is about grrl power and control. They don’t even hide it. Look at the “I have the girl parts so I make the rules” T-shirts.
Yes. Some of us were fearing that abortion would hobble the red wave. I saw an opinion poll on election day which reported 69% thought abortion should be legal.
That 69% includes a lot of conservatives who are tired for paying for welfare moms with 6 baby daddies.

I think we already are, but it will get much worse. Perhaps the Red Moon portends a warning from God. But, I do know that we are morally corrupted as a nation and that no culture can withstand a moral bankruptcy without doing great harm.

I think abortion gave the Dems the GOTV firewall they needed in places like VA and PA. That and GOP own goals is what broke the red wave.

The problem with this idea is that it would allow the Demons at a national level to pass federal laws and even constitutional amendments that make no surviving red states free.

I think that would be short lived. If actions have negative consequences, the actions will stop. Even insane liberals follow that universal principal.

Dems will try to put an abortion issue on every ballot for 2024 since it GOTV for them. This issue isn’t going away.
If I were a betting person, I would bet that a substantial portion of the male population (if not a majority) is on board with the prospect of “women want(ing) to have sexual encounters with a back up plan if they get pregnant.”
