SEATTLE — Patty Murray defeated GOP challenger Tiffany Smiley in her bid to retain her seat in the U.S. Senate.
Murray led Smiley with 57% of the vote following an initial ballot count on Nov. 8.
Murray, a Democrat, will serve for a sixth term in the U.S. Senate.
Washington state hasn’t elected a Republican to the Senate since 1994.
The demonrats are obviously cheating.
Who counted the votes
No Republican has won a statewide race since we went to mail-in ballots.
None.
Smiley was a good candidate, but the democrat machine in King County and the outskirts has a grasp like Chicago does on Illinois.
The machine would never let Murray lose.

She probably was. We lived in Seattle area for 12 years for hubby’s job. King County just keeps finding and counting ballots until the democrat wins.

I’m an ex Californian( born and raised) that lived and worked in King county for 20 plus years.
I owned chains saws, guns, fishing poles, and guns.
I never voted for a Democrat.
The problem is East coast people.

If Senate remains 50-50 at best, GOP heads need to roll. Starting with McDaniel at RNC and of course McTurtle.
The next leader should be sharp enough to make Sinema and possibly Manchin some offers they can’t refuse to flip, a la Jumping Jim Jeffords. Otherwise the Rats will kill the filibuster with a simple majority.

That’s what I keep saying. I think Republicans will be down in the Senate 51-49 and take the House 225-210. After all the misery Biden has brought in the first two years, we get this kind of split decision? They’ll jack gas up again and keep food prices high figuring they can do whatever they want.
