Lost in the summer when Oz decided to take a month off and let Fetterman define the race - Oz was defined by Fetterman first, with Oz trying to play catch up the rest of the time. I don’t think Barnette or even McCormick would have taken a month off and given the Democrats that kind of free reign coming out of the gate.

Oz was a bad candidate. He was an unknown who dropped into a state that wasn’t his state. It wasn’t like Bobby Kennedy or Hillary Clinton dropping into NY. They had name recognition. Then Oz taking the summer off?
You got to ask- was there no game Penn GOP candidate who could have run?
