Oz was a bad candidate. He was an unknown who dropped into a state that wasn’t his state. It wasn’t like Bobby Kennedy or Hillary Clinton dropping into NY. They had name recognition. Then Oz taking the summer off?
You got to ask- was there no game Penn GOP candidate who could have run?
And now we touch on the biggest problem of all.
Good people simply don’t want to get their hands dirty and get involved in politics. And frankly, can you blame them? Look at the shit they and their families have to deal with, why give up a good life for that?
All these recriminations are petty, we have to look at the bigger picture.
This was a Democrat year, they are sweeping all the Senate tossups and will keep the Senate. We will be lucky to have Ron Johnson hold on at this point.
Right now, we are not even ahead in 218 House seats to take over the House.
