Same
Parts would join other existing states.
the last thing we want to do is make autonomous leftist states with more representation
Idagon? Oreho?
You are from New York, so I will be kind and say nothing.
By all means, speak your mind. I am all for everyone exercising their First Amendment rights within the rules of this forum
It would be an interesting change for everyone in the region and an historic change for the nation. I’m afraid the PTB will fight it tooth and nail but IMO it is a worthwhile consideration to explore.
Clearly the folks in e. Ore. do not have a representative form of governance responsive to their needs and desires as things stand. That is not really and Idahoan’s problem but it could be and Idahoan’s opportunity.
If the Bend area goes with the eastern Ore. coalition maybe the rich leftists will refugee off to some new location.
They could come to CO and make an even bigger mess of us here.
Idagon if Idaknown that Oreho was going to be at the party! :)
You can add Eastern Washington to that comment. Actually the combination of EOre and EWa plus Idaho could make the whole thing bigger than Texas, if it was ironed flat. With all the vertical territory in the three areas, I think it would still be a bit smaller. Then imagine Alaska flat as Kansas. I feel sorry for their situation but Idaho is my boss and I ride for the brand.
It’s all great territory up there in the NW.
Maybe the best plan would be to convince the leftists that emigrating to China and/or NK is where they’ll find their utopia.
If the left can gaslight us why shouldn’t we gaslight them?
I’ll help pay for the tickets. Regards. :)
They sure did a successful beatdown on Tina Peters when she tried to prove it.
I almost went to Idaho for the liberty factor, but it is pretty dismall there in other ways
“Democracy” is only when you obey leftist orders.
Voting against them is “fascism” and “insurrection”.
:-(
I think I know what you mean. There is a lot of territory in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming that I would love to live in. At least in the summer. But all of it would be colder for longer than where I am and it’s cold enough here.
Access to services would likely be more difficult too, depending on exact location, and approaching 70 I should probably think about that.
