Former President Trump said on Tuesday that he voted for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in the state’s gubernatorial race.
After casting his vote in Palm Beach, Fla., Trump told reporters that he voted for the Florida governor, who is widely seen as his biggest competition to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.
Days earlier, Trump took at jab at DeSantis at a rally in Pennsylvania, dubbing the Florida governor “Ron DeSanctimonious.” However, the former president encouraged Florida voters to support DeSantis just one day later at a rally in Miami.
Trump also hinted on Tuesday that he may announce his campaign for president on Nov. 15. The former president has frequently teased a campaign announcement in the final weeks of the midterm elections.

Really. Okay, not worth a fight.
I yearn to see them become staunch allies. I was just talking to my husband a few days ago and mentioned how, if DeSantis ran for president and won, that would leave an opening for a great conservative governor in Florida—and who better to fill it than Florida’s most famous resident? Wouldn’t leftist heads explode?
Exactly, they joust like brothes.
Doesn’t the prefix “de” mean opposite? (Yeah, it’s a reach there😄)
“Doesn’t the prefix “de” mean opposite? “
“De” means “from” or “about.” Ron is “from the Saints.”
It can sort of mean “opposite” for verbs, as it involves un-doing something, like to “decertify” is to remove from being being certified, to “declassify” is to remove from classification, etc.
lol... I think Trump answered what they were thinking in 1 WORD.....
Now watch all the “Sanctimonious” Never Trumpers” write paragraphs lecturing us as if their opinions were from God....
They are easy to spot...(look for But) as in “I like Trump but ....lol...blah blah blah.....God has spoken ...and they are quite smug about it too ...
Winner winner chicken dinner! Bravo!
I think the less he talks about that Governor, the best. For now. And vice versa. Just from a tactical perspective.
I agree, but after last night the Bush/Romney wing is going to push Desantis to run against Trump.
Trump/Desantis ticket is unstoppable, but they’ll not let that happen.
Desantis campaigned for ODea who is anti Trump
