Meghan McCain is only great in her own mind, exactly zero voters will be swayed by her comments because nobody actually cares about her opinions. In fact, the same could be said for John McCain, look at how quickly he was forgotten as soon as he kicked the bucket. Just another minor politician in a dusty old history book...

He is still a thing here in Arizona, which is why we got Martha McSally (TWICE) when she was an AWFUL candidate. McCain's courtiers are scattered about AZ government, and weeding them all out will take several cycles.
As Lake is running in AZ, it is a gutsy move that will motivate the base and turn off a McCain nose-holder or two.
