Is the cheating just a given at this point?
I don’t think this is cheating. The GOP just didn’t turn out in the numbers expected. Still need to see how things shape up on the west coast and some races are still too close to call. Can still end up in control of Congress. Just not the tsunami many of us expected. Florida set a tone that did not spread nationally.
No it could be a basic trend that voting is unpredictable and thus polling is worthless. I will continue to participate but not look on elections as a spectator sport. Folks are manipulated by the media and the politicians to think elections are more important than they are. It has always been this way .
I don’t know if it’s cheating. It’s possible there’s just a bunch of really stupid people out there. Someone said if we can’t win with gas at $4.00 a gallon, we’re screwed. Well, if the Democrats actually keep total control of the Congress, look out for $6.00 a gallon. Will that be enough? What about $8.00? I know this. Here in PA, the only candidate who had any money at all to advertise was Dr. Oz. Mastriano did not run one ad on TV. The candidate for the House, in a competitive district, ran zero ads. If we can’t get our message out, we’re going to keep losing.
Likely. The close races tend to go rat in the middle of the night.
