Howdy, luvie.
We’re ready and rarin’ to head out to do our part tomorrow.
I hope we have the results that we’ve been praying for!
I hope so too. All eyes will be on the results as they come in tomorrow night.
Gorgeous! It’s been cloudy here all day. I hope it’s clear by tomorrow night so I can see the whole full moon.
Yes, they sure will. I’m sure Steve will have a stream, but I will get the quiz going before I try to mod for it. Now I just need to pick a quiz. LOL!
It was cloudy here when I woke up but the sun started peeking out a little later. By sunset, the sky was clear.
We’ll see what happens tonight when the eclipse starts. It’s supposed to cloud up again by then. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Not eeeeeven going to watch the stream. I have other avenues for keeping up with it tomorrow night. I’m contemplating going to the county GOP’s election night party for a while. Might end up flipping a coin to decide. LOL
Oh! I didn’t even remember there was an eclipse coming. I probably won’t watch. Probably can’t anyway. Eclipses move too slow for me. LOL!
How's everyone doing this morning?
Yep, total eclipse tonight. It starts here in about 2 1/2 hours and will be total by 5:00. I won’t get to see it, though, because the &#%! clouds have moved in. Never fails.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Did you and Gizmo get lucky and have the lake more to yourselves yesterday?
Only two people is much less of a crowd than you had Sunday. Didn’t seem to faze Gizmo at all. He had a grand ol’ time. LOL
Wouldn’t you know it’d mess you up! Dang it. I was looking forward to seeing your pictures. The one tonight was awesome. Sort of eerie.
It was expected. It’s been years since I’ve seen a total lunar eclipse because this ALWAYS happens! I caught a brief glimpse through a break in the clouds of the last one we had but it was past totality at that point. I’ll keep sticking my head out the door in hopes of the clouds breaking up a little as the night wears on. Right now, they’re solid cover. :-(
I love getting shots through the trees. Even more when the camera behaves just right and the twigs and branches are lit. Got lucky this evening. :-)
It was a great shot! I hope the clouds part enough for you to get a picture of the eclipse, too.
Meanwhile, I’m really sleepy. In my mind it’s nearly 4am instead of nearly 3am. Takes a while to adjust. So. See ya tomorrow. Hope you have nice weather.
Thanks. Glad you like it.
I’m not holding out much hope for any eclipse shots. It’s dark outside now, the clouds are so thick. The eclipse just started so that isn’t why it’s dark.
I’ll step out when it’s total to listen to the dogs and coyotes barking and howling. They’ll sense what’s going on even though we can’t see it. It’s creepy to listen to but fun at the same time.
Then I’ll go to bed. LOL
Don’t think about what time it used to be. Go by the clock and do what you normally do at clock time. It works for me and I have little trouble adjusting to the time changes. I do wish they’d stop doing it though. We’re back on standard and should stay with it. MHO.
Well, just came in from moon-watching. I got lucky and got to see it briefly but the camera couldn’t pick it up to take any pix. The camera’s pretty good in low-light situations but that was just too low. Darn the luck because the moon was beautiful in totality.
Now clouds are covering it again so it’s time to hit the sack.
Catch ya this evening for the quiz.
Sorry you were unable to get a shot of the full eclipse. I was totally asleep. LOL! See ya tonight!
