Can’t you guys just appreicate and just stop taking foolish shots at Trump for once? Trump isn’t making it about him. It is about saving America. He is helping JD Vance and all the rest get more people to hear from these great candidates. If he only cared about himself he would have taken his ball and gone home after 2020. If what we think is gonna happen tomorrow happens, Trump doesn’t have to demean himself with that moronic clown show.
Personally, I voted for Trump and have donated to Trump on more than one occasion, but right now, at this moment, it is not about him. I would vote for Trump again, but he has shown a penchant for making self-induced, forced errors. As others have pointed out, sticking by Fauci (okay, right before an election), but Birx? How about Chris Wray, and Jeff Sessions, or almost any other person he picked for almost any job. Then, talking to Bob Woodward, as if he was magically going to schmooze this scorpion.
Hopefully, this is all a ruse to get people to tune in, but if not, and especially if it adversely scares away a bunch of fragile soccer moms, or NY voters possibly voting Republican for the first time in their natural lives, then yeah, I will be upset.
With all respect my good friend, it’s not TDS when people who would otherwise support Trump recognize this would be be a ridiculous act of self idolization, even for Trump.
In my opinion, TDS is when someone refuses to admit anything that Trump does is of value, which I don’t think is the opinion of many, if any, here.
Several are just tired of the incessant Trump talk when this election has very little, if anything, to do with him, and this move would ratchet that focus up to even more unbearable levels. Thanks.

This is what may driving this story if it is true.
Trump has also worked very hard to elect conservative and populist Republicans. He's stumped all over the country appearing at rallies for candidates. Most of them owe him their primary wins and, if they win tomorrow, they'll owe a good chunk of the victory to Trump.
That said, I think he should not announce until early next year. Most people will want a breather from politics at least during the holiday season. I don't know what his rush is.
He needs to do it tomorrow night. I believe they will arrest him on Wednesday, otherwise.
