D-Limonene, which is a citrus by-product, and very volatile and flammable, is used for a lot of the products produced at the plant.

Explosions, massive fire at Symrise Plant in Brunswick, firefighter injured, area evacuated, schools sheltering in place

https://www.firstcoastnews.com/article/news/local/crews-on-scene-of-explosion-at-symrise-plant-in-glynn-county/77-bec39604-d3de-43b7-b027-4725a5f66f80

“ The Symrise Plant, 209 Scm Road, is a global supplier of fragrances, flavors, food, nutrition and cosmetic ingredients, according to its website. Its clients include manufacturers of perfumes, cosmetics, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and producers of nutritional supplements and pet food, its website states.”

Interesting list of products it supplies ingredients for. Add it to the list.

I hope everyone is OK, but “inspiring fragrance, flavor, natural nutrition and cosmetic ingredients” aren’t critical products.

I wonder if the blast smelled like pumpkin spice.

I work in a papermill and we do a similar process at our tall oil plant, they use turpentine which is a very flammable substance.

Hi.

I could be imagining things, but doesn’t it seems like a lot of explosions and fires at food processing plants, fertilizer plants and oil refineries. Not to mention pipelines.

Probably just my imagination running away with me.

Wow this has the potential to cause damage to election facilities and destroy some peoples’ votes, strangely only if they’re Herschel votes.

The building blocks of safe, inert products can be flammable.

Those ‘.webp” are annoying.

I have found a simple way around it though..
If you are using Winblows, you can save the .webp file, open it in Paint, save it as .PNG/.JPG, then reupload it.

(Photoshop doesn’t like .webp either :P )

There may be a couple of causes.

Absenteeism / retirements due to Covid
Delayed / flawed maintenance
Difficulty in hiring qualified replacements

Running a business is definitely more difficult these days.

Just what I was thinking. Is this meant to effect the Georgia Senate race?
