Any indictments against a former or sitting US president should be first reviewed by SCOTUS for their legitimacy.

Exactly. They have been trying since the day after Election Day 2016 to indict him. They’re following the “Show me the man and I’ll find a crime” playbook.

Big deal in the beltway but the rest of the country doesn’t know and couldn’t care less.

These people are too stupid to understand the more they attack President Trump the stronger is base becomes.
They are also too stupid to understand that whatever they do will allow Republicans do against any Democrat they don’t like. They have set the precedent.

This is The Hill desperately pleading with the DOJ to indict Trump right now, today.

Some losers just can flush Trump out of their head. Still dreaming about the mythical “Trump indictment.” He lives in their skulls rent free.

Yep - 6 years of going after President Trump for representing America and not the elite cabal!..... And SICK that the DOJ & FBI have had their hands in it. They’re far more corrupt than he is! .... imho

“Republican lawmakers in both the Senate and the House are warning they will put up a staunch defense of Trump...”
I’ll believe that when I see it. The most they’ll do is send a strongly worded letter on the subject, then run and hide to avoid being called bad names.

This is why I think Trump will announce his 2024 candidacy this week and as soon as tonight at his Ohio rally.
Indicting a candidate for the presidency makes it seem political (which it is anyhow) and can be seen as interfering with a presidential election.
At least that's the rationale Jim Comey used when he decided not to prosecute Hillary Clinton back in 2016.
