His campaign manager needs to be fired over that commercial. If DeSantis saw it before it went out, he needs to stick his head in a bucket of ice water to wake up. Terrible idea (the worst I’ve seen this cycle…by light years)…and terribly executed. He can get away with that in this election, Hell, he could get away with anything against Crist. But he could never survive that ad in a Republican primary or on the national stage. It would literally end his campaign immediately. He needs some better advisers, that much is obvious.

Of course he saw it. A candidate is going to review and sign off on his own campaign commercial. If not, he needs to get the hell out of politics.
