Turkey is not happy with Russia and Iran right now. Some have posited that a war between Iran and Turkey could break out with all that is going on in Syria. I’m not sure that would happen, but they are not to be trifled with.
Here’s another point that could play into a future war. Both Russia and Iran are in massive demographic spirals - Iran possibly has the worst population drop in history right now. Turkey still has a good level population going for the foreseeable future.
Usually, nations with demographic problems start wars sooner.
