doesn’t look that big to me... and I have seen a few in my day...
What is going on? First the reported W. Va. story? A boomer in the Black Sea? I understand that the Black Sea is 168,00 square miles and 7,000 feet deep but still ...
As usual, the press is wrong about military hardware. The Typhoons are the largest subs.
Perhaps, one day, the lame ass US/UK/EU/NATO propaganda ridden media will stop printing BS?
‘Putin deploys world’s largest submarine with ‘apocalypse’ drone capabilities’
https://nypost.com/2022/10/03/putin-deploys-worlds-largest-submarine-nuclear-convoy/
All to cover up Biden’s Ukranian corruption. The blackmail must be intense.
It will be a miracle if we can make it to the midterms without the Anglo Saxons starting WW3.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a ‘training accident’ occurs regarding the Americans on that sub, since Ukraine mined the hell out of the Black Sea early in the war.
Biden’s foot prints still being made when he closed our oil supply it made Putin billions to invade Ukraine.
This is a stupid escalation of hostilities.
The Black sea to Russia is like the Chesapeake or St Lawrence seaway or is to the US. Team Biden is too dangerous to have control of the nuclear football.
Potemkin Biden are a team of socially promoted professional virtue signalers, previously know to the logically thinking world as... dumbbells.
USS Rhode Island is Ohio Class displaces at 18,750 tonnes and as such is 3rd largest sub class - behind Russia’s Borei class at 24,000 tonnes and the Typhoon class at 48,000 tonnes
They aren't going to put a boomer in the Black Sea. My guess would be she's headed for the Atlantic.
They really do have monkeys in the streets there.
"If you’ve ever visited Gibraltar, a rock off the south of Spain that is United Kingdom territory, the most memorable thing about the place are the cheeky monkeys who have lived there for the past 300 years. "
So, the sub leave a scheduled port call…and all of a sudden it’s about nuclear war?
I love propaganda as much as the next guy, but this is silly. SSBNs are all over the place. We simply know where this one was.
I saw the headline and wondered why they were crowing about a Russian sub leaving Gibraltar...

Was walking along the bank of the St. Marys River in Ft. Clinch State Park, Florida, adjacent to Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, Georgia, when we noticed a group of smaller navy boats chugging our way from the north. When the crowd got closer, we realized it was a convoy escorting one of the behemoth nuclear submarines out to sea. Quite a thrill to be so close to something so powerful...and large. It was an impressive site. We later learned it was the USS Tennessee, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine.
News at eleven.
I asked this on another thread and received no answers, so, I’ll try again here:
What’s Turkey’s naval capacity in the Black Sea vs. Russia’s (or anybody else, for that matter)?
This given Russia’s losses so far.
Turkey seems extremely keen to keep those grain shipments going. I suspect they are very worried about further food price inflation & possible unrest.
