Something tells me, many haters have had zero interaction with the object of their hate, or at least a biased sample. That leads to racist posts. Ayn Rand put it well.
Racism is the lowest, most crudely primitive form of collectivism. It is the notion of ascribing moral, social or political significance to a man’s genetic lineage—the notion that a man’s intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry. Which means, in practice, that a man is to be judged, not by his own character and actions, but by the characters and actions of a collective of ancestors
Approaching people as individuals has always worked best. If people want to spew vective, then I appreciate them making their ignorance well-documented. That way, I can step aside. Surrendering your position is the sign of a poor strategic thinker.
And if an individual Jew-hater comes after you with sticks and stones and you end the problem with a firearm, you deserve a medal.
In my experience, it is those always looking for racism who are actually the racists themselves.
For me, it always comes down to the individual. I really don't care or give much thought to their race or creed.
