One of the biggest handicaps the Democrats have right now is a totally lapdog media that carries their water and protects them from bad news, making Democrat politicians entirely unable to see when trends are going against them.
This is just another example. DeSantis will win by double digits but every newspaper in Florida is telling Charlie Crist what a great job he'd be doing.
Maybe these candidates would be better served if the media told them honestly why they failed to connect with the voters? But the media can't do this because, as I pointed out above, any individual journalist who reported this would get cancelled by their fellow Twitter Bluechecks.
