Ukraine if far more like the old Soviet Union than Russia is.


Maybe, except for the USSR’s penchant for invading neighboring nations. On that Russia is still holding onto the Soviet tradition.

Russia is far less likely than WE ARE to invade another nation.

The Russians have better reasons to be in Ukraine than we did either Iraq war. And, certainly far better reasons than why we are in Syria.

The hypocrisy on your comment is on a level of the left in this country.

Russia came to us seeking to negotiate and prevent this war in December. All it wanted was a guarantee that Ukraine would remain neutral and not join NATO and the Minsk Agreement, which Ukraine signed off on, implement. That's hardly a nation seeking to go to war aggressively.

Your analogy fails miserably.
