Russia is far less likely than WE ARE to invade another nation.

The Russians have better reasons to be in Ukraine than we did either Iraq war. And, certainly far better reasons than why we are in Syria.

The hypocrisy on your comment is on a level of the left in this country.

Russia came to us seeking to negotiate and prevent this war in December. All it wanted was a guarantee that Ukraine would remain neutral and not join NATO and the Minsk Agreement, which Ukraine signed off on, implement. That's hardly a nation seeking to go to war aggressively.

Your analogy fails miserably.

Well based on the history of the last several years you are correct on this point!

The hypocrisy on your comment is on a level of the left in this country...
Your analogy fails miserably.

I don’t think so. You are the one who made the statement that Ukraine is more like the USSR than Russia. I only pointed out that Ukraine has invaded no one to my knowledge, while Russia has. I made no comparisons or implications about how Russia’s actions in Ukraine were similar or different than America’s history of invasions.

I have no strong feelings about Russia and Ukraine nor to I see either nation as evil or good. All I am pointing out is that Russia has invaded Ukraine twice in this century. Russia may well have had good reasons for doing so. But invade Ukraine it did. What is hypocritical about point out that fact?
