The hypocrisy on your comment is on a level of the left in this country.
Russia came to us seeking to negotiate and prevent this war in December. All it wanted was a guarantee that Ukraine would remain neutral and not join NATO and the Minsk Agreement, which Ukraine signed off on, implement. That's hardly a nation seeking to go to war aggressively.

Russia is far less likely than WE ARE to invade another nation.
I have no strong feelings about Russia and Ukraine nor to I see either nation as evil or good. All I am pointing out is that Russia has invaded Ukraine twice in this century. Russia may well have had good reasons for doing so. But invade Ukraine it did. What is hypocritical about point out that fact?

Isolationism is never a good thing, especially in an interconnected world. And once the US is Isolated, it gives free rein to other countries to do whatever they want, to whomever they will, when they will.
Taken further, the while thing will shrink down to only the continental US and then shrink further to just individual states.
