I have always expressed support for a negotiated peace settlement so that all of the citizens can resume a normal life and stop suffering atrocities just because two big egos and their minions want to have a go at each other.

A negotiated peace settlement is the way to resolve this. But the warmongers want to keep fighting and destroying lives, property and infrastructure.
