To say that either side is stronger is a hard case to make but the fact that Russia is mobilizing hundreds of thousands of troops and apparently rushing them to the front with little training and having to buy equipment from Iran and nk says something even though people on this site down play Russian losses I think that is a hard case to make. Ukraine will always be at a disadvantage just because of their size but Russia seems to not be acting like a country with no worries. The weapons Ukraine have now allow them to use fewer with great accuracy and Russians rely on mass shelling to try to achieve the same goals. The acquisition of drones from Iran and China may be an equalizing fact but it also appears that Ukraine has increasing capabilities to deal with them effectively. The main advantage IMO the Ukrainians have over Russia is moral. Time will tell how effective the Russian mobilized troops are

Russia has depleted it’s artillery shells and is forced to buy them from North Korea.

The Russian economy is in chaotic shambles and unable to produce the shells required

Having reverted to the defense on the long battlefield front line, at home the Russian economy is withering to the point it has or is becoming ineffective.

“The main advantage IMO the Ukrainians have over Russia is moral.”

As Napoleon said, the moral is to the material, as three is to one.
