Furthermore, as this will undermine the Democrats’ chances for the presidential election in 2024, allies in Asia might be doubtful about diplomatic and economic partnerships in the next two years pending the vote, he added.

Really, I don’t think any president has been more Chinese unfriendly than the Biden administration. Going from unspoken recognition of Taiwan to overt support, CHIPs act, total ban on advanced semiconductors and manufacturing equipment, threat to obliterate the Norks if they use nukes.
