He’s not leaving. They all threaten but they need this platform
(Excerpt) Read more at dailymail.co.uk ...
the leftists desperately need twitter to overwhelm conservatives; but their now vanished censorship makes that IMPOSSIBLE.
King should leave.
He’ll have much more time to write creepy books about cruel and gruesome things happening to women, children and dogs.

“....while billionaire CEO now readies to lay off nearly TWICE as many employees as previously reported”
And may he utilize the strongest disinfectant one can use to clean up their ‘safe spaces,’ desks, chairs, etc. other than sunlight.....
I wonder if he’s hiring anyone to replace them. People without purple hair and lip rings.
So...
$20 a month gets you a blue subscription
$8 a month gets you a blue tick
$5 a month gets you advanced features
Will there still be free accounts?
I’m confused by the offerings, but I’m not paying $60 a year to be able to tweet, much less $240 a year to prove I’m me.
You’ve got it wrong....though I admitt it’s confusing. I think the rate is a flat $8. which includes advanced features.

Not having ever been on Twitr, I have no clue what a “blue check” even is, but he’s certainly pizzling off the right people!!! MAGA!!!
I am not a Facebook, instagram, twitter person, but based upon conversations about twitter bots, I’d bet Musk is eliminating those entities.
Musk talked to so and so.
Musk defends so and so.
Twitter is still owned in part by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.
BTW, which Woke American investor group do you think is going to put money behind Musk's effort to bring free speech to Twitter?
When you buy a new company, you listen to people from all sides. It doesn't mean you do what they suggest or that you even believe them.
This comment muddies the water and nothing more.
The measure is not aimed at you. Very few people would care if you had a blue checkmark because (I assume) you are not famous in real life.
Companies and celebrities who post on twitter WOULD care that their twitter account has a blue check, and more importantly that nobody BUT them can get a blue check under their name.
LOL. Good question. As long as they are not replaced, by people with blue hair. 🤪😆😂
The people that remain will be chastened.
Twitter will instantly have an entirely new culture.
There will be problem holdovers, but they will be identifiable once they start complaining.
Where it’s free, you’re the product.
So yes, there will be free accounts
New and holdover investors obviously like what they've seen re: the financial projections possible from cleaning house in general and getting rid of the anti-free speech crowd specifically.
Twitter went from a target market of Woke users (roughly 30% of the target population at best) to a broad target market which includes people of all political persuasions.
If anyone can pull this off, it'll be Musk. But of course, we'll have to wait for results.
Probably not needed. After liposuction you don’t go trying to find more fat to inject back in.
People of all political persuasions would be best, so they can counterbalance one another. I, for example, would be tempted to ban all Biden supporters, but that would not be what free speech is about. Even stark raving mad socialists like Greta Thunberg have a right to say what they think, as long as there’s no vulgarity or threats of violence included.
Let's have a giant brawl of ideas and let the best ones win.
Twitter can be a forum for such a fight.
And Musk is right. If such a fight gets started, it will be impossible to resist the urge to join in.
He’s worthless. Only two stories worth a read. The Stand and Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.
