The White House responded to the Tuesday afternoon shooting of two Newark, New Jersey, police officers by pushing gun control measures that already exist in New Jersey.
Breitbart News reported that a suspect shot the two officers as they attempted to serve a warrant around 2 p.m.
Both officers were transported to a hospital in stable condition, according to CNN. FOX News noted that the White House released a statement Tuesday night in which White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre described Americans as being “scarred by the devastating impacts” of gun violence in the United States.
Jean-Pierre pointed to the attack on the Newark police officers and the drive-by shooting in which 14 were injured Halloween night in Chicago. Jean-Pierre did not mention that Newark and Chicago are Democrat-run cities.

I hate it when I can’t tell the Babylon Bee headlines from the real headlines.
Wait, what?!?!? I am confused, I thought there was no crime and to say so was “Data Denial.” Is whatsherface Jean Pierre guilty of pushing crime misinformation that has a racial tone to it?
-already a convicted felon with multiple pages in their rap sheet.
-a "prohibited person" who's deemed not allowed to possess firearms.
-currently out on bail for other crimes.
-currently out on parole for other crimes.
-was shooting with a stolen firearm.
-the father of several illegitimate children with different mothers.
-involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics.
-"known to law enforcement".
Since it's Newark, New Jersey, there's also a very slight chance he was an aspiring rap artist who was turning his life around.
There's also a chance he's in the country illegally.
Scary, but you are probably correct on all counts.
Democrats have their own reality.
Democrats don’t support the police. The Democrats are the party of lawlessness. For example, open southern border, no prosecution for Democrats who break the law, cashless bail, letting felons out of prison, defund the police.
Lock them all up.....
Overall it’s a memory-hole story.

If we gave Democrats everything they wanted, then guns would be completely illegal, but there would be no police to arrest you if you had them, and even if you somehow did get arrested, you could just walk out of jail with no bail.
Since the shooter is apparently black, it seems the Democrats must be desperate to call for gun control given that.
