Kid Rock, one of former President Trump’s most vocal supporters, says he’s itching to reach across the aisle for a beer with former President Obama.
“I want to hang out with Obama and drink beer,” the “We the People” singer said on an episode of Bill Maher’s podcast “Club Random” released Sunday.
“I mean there’s not a cooler — all the presidents that I’ve, you know, [been] able to meet, from Jimmy Carter up,” Kid Rock, who was born Bob Ritchie, told Maher.
“He can get down,” the performer exclaimed of his desire to grab a cold one with the 44th president. “I want to drink beer with him.”
“I didn’t like a lot of his policies,” he continued. “I didn’t vote for him.”

I read/heard that when he was not on TV, all he did was watch Sports Center.

The only time I ever liked the guy was when he was sitting in the booth during one of the World Series games talking to Joe Buck and McCarver. He actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about.
Kid Rock, Ye, they may be Trump supporters, but they’re a bit “off” so to speak.
Aren’t the majority of politicians? I’d wager Obama’s photogenic nature and script reading abilities were the reason’s he rose so fast in the Democrat party compared to others.

Supposedly, the Muslim terrorists of 9/11 went drinking and with prostitutes before murdering 3000 people, so I tend to think the laws don’t apply to those about to be “martyred”.

I have lived awhile and through all kinds of eras, styles, habits... and a war. There never was a time when our nation was divided like it is today. We were one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
What happened! barry obama happened... they so loved him and followed him... He was the wrong one to be following.. anti American, and all he thought and did... They picked up his anger.. they repeated his anti Americanism.. and today he gets his thrills being adored.. openly adored.
And they want to talk about the MAGA crowd and Trump?
There is good and bad in everything... Trump is the good and the dark side does not want to follow anyone in the good category.
The indivisible is divisible.. the justice is not for all.. liberty is for those who have clout ... God has been trampled and the left do not want any reminders there is a God in Heaven.
It was better to have little and united, than to have much and openly hate.
So what. I would have a beer with anyone, especially if the other person paid. Also, I think it would be fine to have a beer with Obama as long as the conversation wasn’t about politics. Probably a lot more enjoyable than having beer with a Bush. Since Trump doesn’t drink, that wouldn’t be fun at all either.
