Ukrainian officials on Monday morning reported a massive barrage of Russian strikes on critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other cities.
Part of the Ukrainian capital was cut off from power and water supplies as a result, its mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Officials also reported possible power outages in the cities of Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia resulting from the strikes.
The attack comes two days after Russia accused Ukraine of a drone attack against Russia’s Black Sea Fleet off the coast of the annexed Crimean peninsula.

Please, don't anyone worry, Ukraine is closer to achieving their objective than ever before.

Please, don't anyone worry, Ukraine is closer to achieving their objective than ever before. Another $50 billion should be just enough to put it over the top.

I thought the Russians had run out of stuff or were running out of stuff to attack Ukraine with.
I’m confused.

I’m surprised Russia is just getting around to this in the last month or so. Seems as soon as they figured out they were on for a real war (several weeks in or so) they would’ve nailed water and electric.

Their objective is their national survival and existence.
How can that be a bad thing?
Would we not desire, and fight for, the same?
I would

No cruise missiles lauched from Sevastopol this time.
Wha happen?

“I’m surprised Russia is just getting around to this in the last month or so.”
This is a clear distinction in tactics and strategy. The world does not want a carbon copy of the US and it’s “shock and awe” carpet bombing campaigns which it has successfully conducted on countries without the ability to fight back.

It was said long ago Russia was almost out of missiles.
The question is how did NATO know that?
Saying they got the information from the UK Daily Mail doesn’t count.

There was no serious damage to warships. The damage was to Russian-flagged ships involved in the grain deal, i.e. yet another example of Hoho Chutzpah...

Kalibr ships when boom. So did Kalibr subs docked and reloading. Goodwill gesture in Sevastopol on Saturday morning was all according to Putin’s plan. Where Kalibr at?

Please, don't anyone worry, Ukraine is closer to achieving their objective than ever before. Ukraine's only goal is to stay an independent country. I think they're doing just fine at that.

I thought the Russians had run out of stuff or were running out of stuff to attack Ukraine with.Hitting power plants is pretty easy, power plants are big and don't tend to move. Hitting targets on the battlefield is much tougher. The Russians don't have many precision weapons to do the latter.

This is true, but the Ukraine can’t stop Russia from hitting the infrastructure now and it sure couldn’t have in March either. ‘Winning the peace’ is hard enough, especially against irregulars/insurgents, but with our ROEs it’s virtually impossible. But it dawned on me in ‘04 that winning wasn’t the goal, just protracted war for MIC enrichment.
Total war is how wars are won, unfortunately. America is a case study in the failure of ‘sanitized combat’. War should always be the last resort.

80 thousand troops from the partial mobilization have arrived already and 200 thousand more are on the way.
The time to report to the negotiating table is running short and things like shooting at bridges and grain corridors are making Russia less compromising.
