During an interview last week, Republican Arizona gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake doubled down on her commitment to solving the southern border crisis in her state.
Lake has promised the people of Arizona that she will sign a “Declaration of Invasion” on the first day of her term as governor of Arizona if she is elected this November. This move would be her first step toward stopping the flow of fentanyl into the United States through the southern border.
Asked last Sunday how she would respond if the NFL threatened to boycott the state of Arizona under her leadership and relocate the upcoming Super Bowl due to her America First border policies, Lake affirmed that her first priority is the people of Arizona.
“I’m not going to be taking marching orders from the NFL,” Lake said. “I’m taking marching orders from the people of Arizona who are tired of their children getting their hands on the most deadly drug this country has ever seen.”
Lake, who has been bombarded with media attacks throughout her gubernatorial race, has repeatedly flipped the script on the media and displayed incredible America First leadership qualities, helping advance the MAGA movement prior to the midterm elections. The former news anchor used the moderator’s question Sunday to push back against any opponents of her common sense border policies.
“You want to tell me that a bunch of football teams owned by billionaires are okay with fentanyl pouring across our border at a record level killing our young people?” Lake asked. She added that the “number one killer” for people ages 18 to 45 is currently fentanyl. “It’s killing a generation of people,” she said. “If the NFL is okay with that, then they gotta do some soul searching.”
Lake explained she does not believe the NFL is “that stupid” to threaten a boycott over her border policies. Regardless of what the NFL would potentially do if she is elected and carries out her plans to secure the border, Lake made it clear that she is “not concerned” about pushback against her policies.
“The people of Arizona is who I work for,” she said. “That’s why I’m here with you today. This is a job interview. This should have been a debate, and we are doing a job interview, and you the people of Arizona are the hiring agent.”
Lake explained while she will be open and transparent when working for Arizonans, her opponent does not have the “courage” or “respect” for constituents to debate her, share policy plans, or answer the public’s questions.
Lake explained the “hardest thing in the world” is having parents describe the loss of their teenage children due to fentanyl pouring over the southern border.
“We’re being poisoned by the cartels and the CCP,” Lake warned. “The Communist regime out of China is behind this, and if you don’t think that they can take down a civilization and a country with drugs, then you need to do a history lesson and you got to look at the Opium Wars. They brought down dynasties with drugs and they’re trying to bring this country down.”
Contrasting herself with her Democrat opponent, Lake said she would “fight tooth and nail” to protect future generations of Americans.
“If the NFL has a problem with that, they’re gonna have to lick their wounds,” she said, “because we are going to secure our border in Arizona.”
Didn’t find that person, they just don’t seem to exist. There's your chance.
I think Biden should be impeached for not defending our country and people from invaders and the millions of lethal drugs coming across the border. If he can’t or wont’ do his job to do whatever it takes to protect this nation he is not doing the job as President. That is an impeachable offense.
Only some of the States. New York is not one of them. Neither is California.
Even U-Haul trailers seem to merely spread the problems of crime and socialist tyranny to other States. (See Colorado for a worked example).
Perhaps others with greater imagination than I can suggest workable solutions.
Not in a million. I have too little of me left to give away and subject to such distress.
Amen bro
Yes, of course. But I believe that as more see that the battle line is not between Conservative and Liberal but between the vox populi and the Globalists:
[aka: federal government - multinational corp - big pharma - big tech - big education - big media - big bank/financial - big intel - pentagon - WHO - UN - WEF etal]
Americans generally will come together in the interest of liberty, and the states are the proper structure from within which to accomplish this.
