Because he doesn't want to remind Republicans of his vote, because four of his colleagues got the boot because of their impeachment votes (while another four retired so they wouldn't get the boot).
We'll see if he survives to the next Congress.

Will be interesting to see what happens when an impeachment traitor goes mano a mano against a demonrat. This is something we haven’t seen yet. Valadao and Newhouse will be doing so next week.
