The Napa Valley car crash incident was put to bed pretty quickly. This break in and the alleged hammer attack, plus other charges are not going away easily. I think loose cannon Paul has sunk Nancy for good even if the November elections don't.

This is a coverup of a hookup gone wrong. Thats why the guy was in his underwear. If you track down his blog in waybackmachine (because the original was deleted), youll see that jumps from 2007, to all of a sudden August 26, 2022, and all of the claimed right wing content starts there. Consider the unnamed factor that Paul was probably whacked (ba-dum-bum-tish) out of his gourd (can't help myself) by the time the po-po arrived on their Huffy 10-speeds.
If DePepe wanted him gone, he'd have made that point much, much earlier.
Instead, the argument was over money for the act. That's all that's left.
DePepe figures once the po-po are inside that mansion, he is definitely not getting paid at that point, and decides to give Paulie-the-whack-job a couple whacks to remember him on the buy-n-bi, DePepe knowing he's going back into The System.

it could have been pelosi, Perp, or both of them while fighting over the hammer.
For example, they could have been near the door fighting in their underwear over the hammer and Pelosi reaches over to open the door.

Finding out just what happened behind stonewalls may be difficult, but finding pants might be possible. Did he arrive pantsless, which they can sell as just another SF nut, or did he arrive with pants and somehow lose them before the altercation? In which case explaining ‘somehow’ will be challenging. Especially if the Democrats don’t want the rest of the country (her district won’t care) to realize that Nancy doesn’t have enough cajones to satisfy her husband.

Could we please drop the absurd notion that DePape just happened to be wandering around Pelosi's extremely wealthy neighborhood at night, in his underwear, carrying a hammer? That is so unlikely as to be laughable. Also, the police stated that they saw DePape wrestle the hammer away from Pelosi before using it to attack him. THERE WAS ONLY ONE HAMMER and IT BELONGED TO PELOSI.
Pelosi's driver's license was suspended following his DUI. That meant that he could no longer drive himself to his nighttime entertainment. It is reasonable to wonder if he invited his entertainment to come to him.
How did DePape get to Pelosi's house? He probably drove there and was permitted to pass by security guards after they got clearance from Pelosi. That is consistent with the reference to "David" being a "friend." Is DePape's car still at the Pelosi house? I have not seen any mention of his car, or of other means of transportation for DePape.
Much of the reported information about DePape is very old. I thought there would be current information about DePape by today. Does he still live in the schoolbus in the Berkeley hippie house? More importantly, is he bisexual, and is he currently working as a male prostitute?
Regarding the "break in". There appears to be no evidence that DePape forced his way into the house. Photos show a broken window, with a hole too small to permit a person to pass through. The broken glass from that window is clearly visible as a pile that is OUTSIDE the house.
Where are DePape's pants? Are they hanging in Pelosi's closet? The initial report said that both men were in their underpants. How do you explain that, other than that this was a homosexual liason?
The initial report did mention the underwear, but that was “corrected” a few hours later.
Could have been confusion, background noise and a legitimate correction, but still, it makes ya wonder.
