“Buying Twit to reform it does not impress me, I am not a Twit slave.”m

Jealous? My guess is he’s done a whole lot better in life than most on this thread. Envious?

Love it from this old time freeper ... Especially why rap stars travel with entourages. Is why tough hard wired startups, with cores of coders, expand into glass towers with useless eaters hangers on, such as the colored (and not) broads who run the hiring.

David Burge calls them recording artists. How dated is that? lulzzzz

I have a twitter account. It is useful to “follow” aka bookmark various twitter posters who have something useful to say. Maybe about the Ukraine, Russia war. Low carb diets too. Many good commenters about the scam-demic still are there.

Now that Elon has taken the Twitter ownership plunge. This will only get better. And I will be posting there much more freely. So far, my posts have been minimal. I was just absorbing good information.

"They are mostly There is a business class, the top caste in India."
There is a Hindu business caste (Vaishyas) that is probably pretty well represented.

Sorry I messed up that quote. "They are mostly Brahmins, the top caste in India." Vaishyas are the third level down.

I clearly recall when Musk was lobbying congress for all ICE vehicles to be banned in favor of EV’s and extended/larger subsidies.
It was not that long ago.
We have several states and even entire countries following that lead, by 2035 or sooner.

Now he says differently, but is he putting his lobbyist $$$ into that muted change of view?
He is another politician, tell both sides what they want to hear and hope no one notices.

I am tired of his BS and the gullibility of those who hang on his every (And ever changing!) word.

Cannot be jealous of a guy who has trapped himself in the Elon! persona.
I probably have more freedom than he does to do whatever I like and no need of a security detail.

How would he do that, when EV’s only make up less than 4% of cars made per year in the US?
Where would they get the other 96% from?

It was a naked grab to increase Tesla market share and value.
Outlaw ICE cars and force everyone into EV’s.
Tesla was and may still be the largest EV company.
Just because few can afford his products does not prevent his wanting to force everyone to go into debt for them.
Apparently there is no limit to the money and power the ultra rich demand to have.
The best LOL! is that it becomes an inescapable trap with no way out but death.

You probably deserved it.

By which I mean NICELY DONE!

And I hope you get your account back soon.

I’m not sure if I ever even posted there. Have an account, but logged out over something in the last year or two, haven’t logged in since. Look at a tweet linked from elsewhere every now and then, and that’s it.

It was a naked grab to increase Tesla market share and value.

What was?

Outlaw ICE cars and force everyone into EV’s.

Except Musk has never advocated for outlawing of ICE cars.
Until very recently, he made very few EV’s anyway, and his Tesla EV’s are still sold out for up to a year, so how could he advocate for outlawing ICE cars?

Tesla was and may still be the largest EV company.

Tesla is by far the biggest EV maker and seller in America and on the planet.
Last year, Tesla sold close to a massive 70% of all EV’s sold in America.
That is total market dominance.

Just because few can afford his products does not prevent his wanting to force everyone to go into debt for them.

Tesla sold just under a million RV's last year. That is not “just a few”

Apparently there is no limit to the money and power the ultra rich demand to have.
The best LOL! is that it becomes an inescapable trap with no way out but death.

Musk is not forcing anybody to buy his cars.
He has along waiting list on Tesla's and he's been struggling to meet demand for years.
Don't blame the guy for being a great entrepreneur and being very rich.
No one stopped you from working hard, founding your own company and becoming rich.
Now why don't you just go take your meds eh?

Weak on reading comprehension, it’s OK, public school let you down.

I have more important things to do today than tracking down and cataloging all of Musk past weird/extreme/self serving/inane/manipulative statements and actions.
I am not writing a book on him.

Since you confer sainthood on him, how much was that fine he had to pay for stock manipulation? How long was he barred from running Tesla?

“Except Musk has never advocated for outlawing of ICE cars.”
Yes, he has, his lobbying to ban all ICE cars was a power and market share grab.
About the same time he also demanded the same for aircraft.
You are denying it happened, since he lobbied congress for it there should be better records than just the old threads on this very forum.

Market dominance of the whopping 4% EV market, established by a no longer available to Tesla (But he lobbies hard for a return) taxpayer funded subsidy.
I have my own cars to support, I have no desire to pay for others virtue signaling vanity purchases.

I said the few WHO CAN AFFORD THEM, not the few who already buy them.
Being too expensive for the average American is no barrier to Musk demanding everyone go into debt to buy his toxic products.

Inability to deliver has not slowed his grand claims, please remind me, how many of his fully self driving taxi’s are in service today?
Only one example of many available.

Let me be clear, I am not a Musk disciple and find his sort of “Disruptor” activity unethical and likely not in our best long term interest.

His plan for copying the totalitarian Chinese model for all in one social media should give even his most rabid fans pause.
He has stated that buying Twit is a short-cut to achieving that goal faster.

The blind loyalty and subservience to him by so many is creepy in a Joseph Stalin fan club sort of way.

Here I go, getting banned for speaking the unpopular truth?

Yes, he has, his lobbying to ban all ICE cars was a power and market share grab.

1. Give us the link.
2, Tesla ALREADY had a close to a MASSSIVE 70% market share, so why does he need to lobby anyone to “grab market share” again.

I am not writing a book on him.

Thank God for that.
You've saved us a lot of agony.

How long was he barred from running Tesla?

Elon Musk has NEVER been banned from running Tesla. Ever.

You are denying it happened, since he lobbied congress for it there should be better records than just the old threads on this very forum.

Again, give us the link, since it never happened.

About the same time he also demanded the same for aircraft.

Demanded what for aircraft?
1. Musk does NOT make aircraft.
2 Let alone electric aircraft. So how can he lobby for something he doesn't even make?

I said the few WHO CAN AFFORD THEM, not the few who already buy them.
Being too expensive for the average American is no barrier to Musk demanding everyone go into debt to buy his toxic products.

Again, Tesla sold nearly a million EV’s last year and are selling close to 1.4 million this year.
And again, every car they make in instantly sold out. They have a long waiting list for ell their cars. They are not running short of buyers.

Your entire post doesn't make any sense. You are ranting and raving like a demented fellow, so why don't you just go and take your meds and go to sleep like a good boy?

OK, so if YOU are unaware of it, or have forgotten, it never happened, got it!
No I am not going to spend hours searching for old threads and news links from years ago.
Musk MAY have finally mellowed out some and slowed in his stupid/manipulative comments but he certainly has made many.

I may not have used the exact correct term but Musk certainly was sanctioned by the SEC or whatever agency frowns on stock manipulation.
His control of Tesla WAS limited for a time and he had to pay a very large fine.
That’s a FACT, and you may deny it if you like but it is still reality.

You see, NOT being on Meds or a Musk Fanboi MY memory is fine.
Please return to your fantasy land of the infallible Musk! and leave the realist among us in peace.

You appear to be either deliberately obtuse or unable to comprehend that Musk is not the great savior of American enterprise or free speech.
In some aspects he is likely the opposite.
Time will tell, be sure to bookmark this thread for about five years down the road.
Then we will see who is on meds.

My final reply, I am done with this.
It seems the web is nearly impossible to research more than a year or so into the past when it comes to Musk! without more effort than he or you are worth.
I never said ANYTHING about Musk! being banned from running Twit, you invented that on your own.
I mentioned his 20 Million $$$$ SEC fine, loss of the Tesla chairmanship, and (Temporary?) SEC required supervision of his Twit postings.
I mentioned some of his other bizarre statements and lobbying efforts.
My favorite Tesla video is still Musk! touting the shatterproof glass of the Cyber-truck, then seeing it shattered on the spot, TWICE!
LOL!!!!!!
Yep, he does not really understand physics and the effects of increased mass, such a genius! /s

But I did find this fairly quickly.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2018/09/30/mr-musks-wild-ride-costs-him-tesla-chairmanship-and-maybe-a-submissive-board/?sh=125135b16852

Which was linked to this article which remembers more about Musk! than just the past year.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2019/12/23/a-decade-of-elon-musk-and-the-dawn-of-the-electric-car/?sh=6067aeab68da

Continue the claim that Musk! is a new saint and savior of us all if you like.
But that will never be true.

I don’t remember Elon ever advocating for the banning of ICE cars. I did a search for that and did not come up with anything supporting that contention. He did say that he expects ICE cars to be in museums someday but that’s a far cry from calling for them to be banned.

It was a typo and you know it. Couldn't be Twitter which he only took over yesterday could it?
Again, Musk was never banned from running Tesla. Period.

I mentioned his 20 Million $$$$ SEC fine, loss of the Tesla chairmanship

The Chairman of a company doesn't tun the company. The CEO does, and Musk was never banned from being CEO of Tesla by anybody.

I mentioned some of his other bizarre statements and lobbying efforts.

For which you have produced ZERO links or proof.

My favorite Tesla video is still Musk! touting the shatterproof glass of the Cyber-truck, then seeing it shattered on the spot, TWICE!

That was the still in development Cybertruck way back 3 or 4 years ago,
The Cybertruck is not even coming out till NEXT YEAR
Products that are still in development are not like the fully developed products.
Obviously.
Complain when the finished product comes out and the glass shatters.
What more ya got?

I do remember it, very clearly, as it angered me so much.
I have tried to relocate that article and should have saved it at the time.
But knowing there was nothing I could do about it I did not clog my MAC’s memory with it.
I just made personal note and lost all respect for such a self serving extremist position.
More recently he has made more moderate statements, apparently even his brown-nose staff have had to clue him in that the required grid power is just not available and not likely to be for a LONG time, if ever.

Having tracked him from early on I recall a lot that is not currently fashionable.
