CNN — People of color – especially Black and Hispanic people – were less likely to receive Paxlovid and other Covid-19 treatments, according to a study published Thursday by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Throughout the pandemic, Black and Hispanic people have been about two times more likely than White people to be hospitalized or die from Covid-19.
The new study showed Black Covid-19 patients were 36% less likely than White patients to be treated with Paxlovid, and Hispanic patients were 30% less likely than non-Hispanic patients to receive the antiviral pill.
Nearly one in three White patients were prescribed Paxlovid, compared with about one in five Black and Hispanic patients and about one in four Asian and American Indian patients.

I was given the 5-day pack of Paxlovid after testing positive, but with no symptoms whatsoever. I called my doctor before taking them based on some of the package warnings. My main concern was that one of the pills was produced in China. The aftertaste was horrid, but at least it didn't last long after I was done taking them. I'm one of the lucky ones who hadn't been vaccinated, and who never got a rebound case like Biden repeatedly did. I won't even get the flu shot anymore, because you can't trust the people dispensing it.
Blacks can have my share of any covid treatment/therapy promoted by the CDC
It sounds to me like they have better doctors.
Along with racist highways and bridges.
CDC needs a housecleaning. We have talked about race enough. Let’s talk about how to get this country working together again, for everyone. Let’s start dismantling the Media and their enablers and make them accountable for running this country into the ground.

You cannot take a calcium channel blocker while on paxlovid. I also gained 7 pounds in the days I took it and those immediately afterwards. Cape Cod Chips and dark chocolate MnMs were mainlined to kill the taste. I can’t even say it helped as original symptoms were a weak cold. It got no worse. I did get the Fauci Rebound. For that I took Quercetin and zinc to do with my D3 and C. Got no worse than the weak cold.
They may be better off not taking it.
I recently got Covid and my doctor said that while I had some risk factors, I was not high risk so it was my choice whether to get the Paxlovid. I wasn’t going to, but my wife insisted. I asked the pharmacist for his thoughts. He said there was insufficient information to definitively say whether Paxlovid would or would not help. Because my wife insisted, I started taking it.
My wife also came down with Covid, and started taking Paxlovid the day after I did. It made both of us feel horrible so we both quit taking it. We both have had moments of weekness over the last month, but we muddled through and for the most part are okay.
Only albinos are white. The rest of us are earth tones.
A side effect of Paxlovid is COVID rebound.

Are statistics racist? I’d like to see how they normalized the data to get that ratio.
Elderly age obesity, obesity in conjunction with other co-morbidities, other co-morbidities define serious hospitalization and death with or from covid. (If obese Sam has a bad ticker and covid and obese Joe has a bad ticker and covid and they both die. is it possible that one dies from covid and the other dies from heart disease?
Well, since venting and Remdesivir are known to kill people, this is not likely a bad thing.
So what’s that supposed to prove? If anything, blame the doctors and hospitals for their bias.

It’s good that after the malevolent, disastrous ‘treatments’ in Tuskagee, they became necessarily skeptical of the government’s plans to experiment on the public because it is saving their lives now. Ivermectin works, is safe and color blind.
The VA prescribed for me but when the box of pills came by FedEx overnight because must be taken within the first 5 days. I read the possible side effects and said not worth the risk. Fauci was a fool to take this poison and it made him sick.
